I was visiting my grandmother this weekend and we were talking about Auerbach. She used to be a nurse in boston and one time when she was first starting out Red was one of her patients and he had kidney stones. So she goes up to him and has a piss cup and asks him to fill it up. Red responds, smoking a cigar all the while, "I ain't pissing in no f'n cup".

so she leaves and goes to the head nurse or who ever was in charge of her floor, and tells them to come back in the room with her just so they can be a witness. So she goes back in, holds up the cup and says " Mr. Auerbach, YOU WILL PISS IN THIS CUP!". And yes, he pissed in the cup.
