FOX NEEDS 2 BUMP the release date now

fox needs to move the release date up, now.. the movie is buzzin now all over the net.. reviews are coming in every hour.. its time 2 release your finish product. hugh jackman needs 2 drop an interview about this.. what should fox do 2 avoid losing millions @ the box office?

Fox kind of brought this upon themselves. If they made a movie that wasn't crappy, they wouldn't have to worry about people pirating it since it'd be worth seeing again in theaters. I can't really see a good movie hidden away in this rough cut though, and I don't see any amount of post-production fixing it.

FOX should just send Jack Bauer to get back all the money they've "lost" from people downloading the thing. Instant profit.

And I can see them bumping the release by a few days (like Superman Returns was it?) to the wednesday but not by much more.

I think in the Watchmen law suit it was just to give them a share of the profits. Watchmen didn't do that well at the BO so I don't think it helped much with Fox.

They cant...they still have a months worth of work to do. The leaked version isnt even finished yet!

I'm pretty sure the leaked footage is from months ago. Scenes that are finished in the trailers aren't finished in the film.

The movie comes out in less than a month and they have to print and send all of those reels so no...the film is either 99% done or finished at this point. What we don't know is the date the copy that leaked was from.

I can't believe this thing leaked. The other films were always so tight and guarded.

You know, I think that if the movie was good, Fox wouldn't have to worry about losing millions. I mean, the most devoted fans would go see it either way, and the people who hated it from the get-go won't. What mattered were the guys who were on the fence, like me. If the movie was good, they would have wanted to go and see it finished. I, for one, go to see only movies that I truly like. But the movie was absolutely mediocre. As it stands, I don't see a point of throwing my money away for it.
