I didn't know the symbol of Inhumans was a pokeball.

Anyway, I'm still hoping Fox to announce another mutant movie for 2017. X-Force maybe. And I'm really curious about the universe they're building, the movies coming next and this "misterious" 2018 movie.

the 2018 film will probally be start of new X-Men trilogy or X-Force.

I think wolverine film and FF2 will be fox's comic book films in 2017.

I think X-Force will end up being their October movie in 2017.

I was hoping for another "event movie".

Pretty sure this 2018 movie is an event movie, set ten years after Apocalypse. The question is will they be fighting Apocalypse again or a new threat? What I'm confident in is that it will be the beginning of the crossovers in that we'll see the X-Men (including Gambit) team up with X-Force and/or the FF.

Hopefully Alpha Flight, Excalibur, New Mutants and Starjammers are all in development. I wanna see them all in live action!

Is it really practical to do another film set 10 years after Apocalypse in 2018? They've already got to make people like Lucas Till and Nicholas Hoult look into their 40s for Apocalypse and McAvoy and Fassbender's characters will be mid 40s too (maybe even be pushing 50). If they then have a film set in the 90s, it shouldn't be a problem having the new recruits portray their characters as 10 years older but McAvoy and Fassbender will have to be looking late 50s.

There's no telling that 2018 movie will be set in the 90s. It could be a cross-over film set in the present period with the OT cast/Deadpool/Gambit/Fantastic Four and who knows maybe its the first class cast that will now do the time-travel?

Actually they'll be 60y old.

FC = 30 years old.
DoFP = 40
Apocalypse = 50

And if the next movie is set in the 90's, they'll be 60.

New F4 international trailer is on the web and it looks really cool.
I loved interactions between the four.

PS: I think the new trailer will be different

Actually looks better than the photos and trailers so far. I'm scared to go to the F4 section, how they taking it?

Some of the more negative fanboys haven't posted yet.so far somewhat postivie but sooner or later it will get filled up by negative studio fanboys.

Even some comments at site that shall not be named have been postive but fox films comments have gotten a bit better there since DOFP.

Even the mods there are so negative and seem to mostly warn the people claiming they like what they're seeing.

That's not exactly true. The issue is that a lot of the defenders of the movie dismiss the valid criticisms FF fans have.

First half of FF trailer was quite good but then the team became "Fantastic" and the trailer suffered for it. CGI wasn't very good. Poor Jamie Bell.

I have to say, I've really enjoyed both of those trailers. I know Avengers will have much better production but I think I'll be watching FF instead of A2 (I'm not an avid moviegoer and there's no X-film this year)

Make-up effects do wonders. Just look at Heath Ledger in Brokeback Mountain. The guy was 24 playing a 54-year-old. Looked very convincing.

I agree, but Heath Ledger didn't have a "baby face" like Till and Hoult have. I think it's easier to make Heath look older.

I agree it'll be harder to make Till older, but with Hoult all you do is explain Beast doesn't use the inhibitor serum anymore because he's made peace with his appearance. Its easier to make Beast look older than Hank.

The second trailer for Fantastic Four looks great, much better than the second trailer for Ant-Man and Star Wars.

It's fairly simple to make till look older, it's all in the hair and make up

Plus bulking up a little wouldn't hurt either but yeah they don't have to go over the top to convince the audience he is 10 years older

It's best to accept that in this universe these guys may just age very well ;p

Fantastic Four looks awesome, just wish I could post that in a FF thread...

What gave rise to this idea that certain characters are going to be in their 40s by the time X-Men Apocalypse takes place?

I'm not sure if I understand your question, but I guess the answer would be... time.

FC is set in the 60s and Apocalypse will be set in the 80's.

What Lip said

McAvoy's character had just graduated from Oxford with what I assume was his PhD and he was 12 in his flashback scene with Raven, so he would be around 30 in 1962 (When most of FC is Set) and Magneto was 14 in 1944 I believe, so he'd be 32 in 1962.

Both would then seemingly be in their 50s in Apocalypse set in 1983, unless DOFP also changed their ages.

I am assuming Beast and Havok were about 20 when recruited by professor x so would now be 40 in 1983 but that is up for debate.
