Just as the title says which movie franchises do you think that movie nº 3 is better than nº2 ?

For me I've got to say Back To The Future.
Part II felt more like a BTTF 1.5 and I enjoyed Part III more
Also I could say Lord Of The Rings.
Return Of The King was GENIUS!

Those are mine what about yours ?

Spider-Man 3. Yeah. I said It. sue me.
Star Wars Episode III

MY LORD! Ok I can't change your mind about Spiderman 3 but come on...
Agree with ROTS better than AOTC

I also enjoyed Revenge of the sith, And i loved the final fight idk what anybody says.

"Sequel 3" would mean the fourth movie in the series.

Revenge of the Sith

Escape from the Planet of the Apes - I never really liked the 2nd POTA, never found those weird human guys with the bomb interesting, didn't really like the concept of there being some 'intelligent' humans being around after all, the lead was a poor man's re-run of the Heston scenario, and what we got of Heston seemed like deleted scenes from pt1.
Pt3 was a lot of fun though.

edit: Also, Batman Forever, I enjoyed a lot more than the burtons, preferred Kilmer as BM, liked the Grayson origin/interactions with Bruce and alfred, felt more like the comicbooks and characters i read growing up.

I enjoyed Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade more so then I liked Temple of Doom. Both are good, but I liked the third better.

I preferred Matrix Revolutions over Matrix Reloaded and I preferred At World's End over Dead Man's Chest.

I hate films that feel as if they end halfway. :cmad:

Same here...

this is very much of a thread.

But Indy 3 and Die Hard 3 are the only good ones. The others don't really count like ROTK and Bourne. They had material to draw from.

Yeah wasn't a great fan of temple of doom (scared the sh** out of me when I was small)

Oh, I got a good one.

Exorcist III was way better then Exorcist II.

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Fast and the Furious : Tokyo Drift
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
Back to the Future: Part III

Dude.

....... :barf:

Look, I love the first two, but I never left the theater feeling as If I saw a real spider-man movie. Were they good? you bet your ass they were. But with 3, I left it feeling like I saw everything I wanted to see. was SM3 perfect? naw. not at all. But, to me, I felt like the comic-book had popped right off the page. and besides, this is my opinion, I'm not forcing it down anyone's throat, why does it matter?

It's funny you rank the films so low yet have the "I Trust in Sam Raimi for S4" thing in your sig.

I guess you trust in him to deliver at best a 7/10 film.

I don't think there bad movies. I don't expect a masterpiece LYKE TEH DARK KNIGHT!!!1111 but I want something I like. and I DO trust In raimi, because unlike everyone else, I still don't thinks he sucks now.

I kinda dug Sm3 too.... I actually love Sandman. I was glad they used him.

-Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith
-Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
-Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
-Christmas Vacation
-Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade (By a long shot, I don't care for Temple of Doom at all.)
-Die Hard: With A Vengeance
The Return of the King is the most obvious, but it's not a sequel, because The Lord of the Rings was made as one massive film
