My question is, do they plan on making this PG for the family, or more for the cynical moviegoers at a PG-13 or R?

Well, Bad Santa pushed things, even for an R rated movie, but sense this is functioning on the idea that Santa Clause is real, they'll probably want to keep it clean. It's not like Vaughn isn't capable being funny when playing to a younger audience. And Giamatti, probably works better comically playing to younger audiences. If anything, it'll be a middling PG-13, just to give the illusion of a harder film. Especially with more films getting away with saying "f***" despite being PG-13.

I heard it's suppose to be rated R. but this was way before anything was shoot. So that should have changed.

I have to say when I first heard of this movie I saw Vince vaughn dressed like Billy Bob Thorton in Bad Santa. Im glad its not that way.

Ah man, next christmas? Damn these year in advance trailers I thought it was going to be for this holiday.

Anyways, I think it'll be a PG-13 to R movie, just going on who's in it and who is making it.

I got a chance to see the new TRAILER!!!!!!! I just have to say this film is going to be hilarious, the trailer was really promising.

One of the most memorable jokes is when Fred's mother says how she's proud of her son going to all the houses for Christmas. Fred comments, "yeah- that is impressive, breaking and entering into all those houses and stealing all their cookies." Lmaol.

I don't know if this trailer is online yet... I was just lucky enough to have it attached to my reel of the Simpsons last night!

They really should try and make it an R-rating. Any movie with Santa Clause, midgets, and an R-rating is bound to be a hilarious instant classic.

I'll say right now, Vince Vaughn will use the 'Ho, Ho, Ho' saying at some point to refer to a woman.
