I'm ambivalent about the freeze breath. Don't care if they have it, don't care if they don't.
Is this a petition cuz ill sign
Same here. But "too silly" is not a good reason. Flying is silly, heat vision is silly, wearing a costume is silly.
freeze breath is sillier than those other things. That's plenty reason for me. This isn't a right or wrong sort of deal. It's an opinion.
And it's not a huge deal. I wouldn't boycott the movie if they put freeze breath in there or anything.
A feat like this would be absolutely insane.
What do you think about X-ray vision? Probably invented by a perv.
Well, the heat villain at least has a logic to it, as you could explain it as a discharge of the solar energy he absorbs. But so long as the freeze breath is given some hint of an explanation I'd be okay with it. Since they didn't use it in MOS they would need to explain it somewhat so people won't wonder "wait, why didn't he do this in the last movie?" So he'd have to discover the ability I guess.
I'm fine with all the other powers.
I hate the modern dc comics, but that is pretty cool.
But why do we need explanations for everything?
We don't inherently need explanations for everything, but given that he didn't display this power in the last movie we would need some explanation as to why. Maybe he didn't know he could do that yet.
I find it hard to believe we'd see any such imaginative use of powers in a movie, I'm sad to say.
Even with an explanation it is still a silly power. The comic book version of the plastic \S/ or mind erasing kiss. When I think of freeze breath I think of Adam West's Batman. Don't as me why.
And I could hVe sworn Superman dodged the military on the ground, I didn't know he flew out the way.
What a beutiful shot. On screen will be amazing!!!
In the documentary science of superman they give a pretty good explanation. As he can go outspace ( being on the Black Zero and didn't need to breath because of his lunge capacity.
DO YOU WANT A "SCIENCE" explanation?
skip to the min 26:34, they give a pretty good explanation of this power.
*shrugs* Not really sure on this, but if there's a cool way to do it then they should I suppose. Jor did talk about him pushing his limits.
There's no need to overthink this. MOS already showed that Kryptonians have an advanced physiology compared to humans (further enhanced by Solar Power). This interpretation of Kryptonians lends itself easily to lung capacity as a way of utilizing freeze breath. That is, Clark can take in large amounts of air that humans couldn't, and then expel colder air.
Jesus H. Christ guys...srsly, how is Freeze Breath any cheesier than fireballs from his eyeballs?
Everything is seen as "cheesy" at some point. Someone actually said on another website that the cape was cheesy and needed to go.... And someone on SHH once stated that the S-shield was cheesy and needed to go.... And these 2 people were being totally serious.
Yes, certain things are cheesy. I for one think there is good cheese and bad cheese. I'm not afraid of a movie being cheesy. You guys all seem to correlate cheesy with bad, so that when someone says something is cheesy it is somehow a critique.
I like cheese. Sharp cheddar is the best though.
Like I said, I'm ambivalent about the freeze breath. If they decide to include it, I think there needs to be a scene where he discovers that he has it, otherwise it will come out of nowhere. They need to explain it somehow, in that sense. Because otherwise people will wonder why he didn't use it in MOS.
They need to treat it just like they did his Heat Vision.
In the first three pics I've noticed that Supes really has a tendency for blowing his arctic breath to the right.
And in the last pic, he calls it his "Ice Breath". So I guess it has multiple names and not just Arctic Breath.
