I'll try and keep this a spolier free as I can and to be honest I didn't want to know much at all either just basic.
A bud here in Memphis(maco theater)got to test watch the movie 2night(sat night) for the big opening Wed..by the way the 1st two nights are SOLD out.
He got in another buddy of his who is a HUGE Superman fan to watch it with him he wasnt a big fan..a few notes most of it I'am pretty sure most already know.
Clark when he gets back to earth battles for awhile if he should ever be Superman again he just sees the world not needing him anymore....
Both said it was a very emotional movie alot of ups and downs 1 said he had not seen that much emotion in a movie since last yrs Stars Wars the other one brought up Braveheart..it's a seriours movie but yet has that Superman feel true to the comics.
Routh is the new Superman no doubt about that...he does every Superman fan proud and would make Reeve VERY proud...the Superman fan bud who got to watch it...did not like the idea of Routh but he(routh) sold him 100%.
You get left with the idea of wondering and questioning where Superman is headed and how will Luther ends up. going into the next flim..the 2nd one MUST bring a badass villain in it,because this flim proved Luther can not beat Superman alone and it just got the feel that the next one Superman will be in for some hell.(which i loved to hear)
The special effects are in one word WOW!!both said that.You really do think Routh is flying.
All in all a GREAT movie both said that!No doubt Supeman is back!!and will be around for a LONG time.
I CAN'T WAIT!!

it's a pointless thread, there's no new information, and i could give a rat's ass if some guy's friend saw superman returns 2 days early.

it's stupid to make a new thread about it when there's 2 stickied review threads at the top of the page.
