If you were given the choice to relocate ONE Superhero from the MARVEL universe to the DC universe,

1. who would it be? (see poll)
2. What DC Super Villain would you mostly put up against him or her?

3. Which DC City would he or she live in?
4. Would you have him or her involved with any other DC Superhero? If Yes which Individual and/or Group?
5. Would you have him or her involved with any other DC NON Superhero? If Yes who?
6. Would he or she retain their memory of the MARVEL universe?

I think Captain America would fit in well with the JSA.

I'd say the Sentry.

Throwing him into the DC Universe would help further split his fragile mind.

Seeing Superman he would have to ponder the similarities between them. You could really write an almost Morrison caliber story about how the Sentry discovers that not just himself but every super hero in some way comes from Superman. You could have him meet several different incarnations of the man of steel, go all hypertime with it.

Here's another choice that'll probably get people buzzin.

Wolverine. Just throw him head first into the DCU. Hell give him another memory wipe so he barely knows what universe he's in and just see where he goes.

1. Captain America

2. Red Panzer, King Cobra, the Harjavti brothers, Captain Nazi, Deathstroke, Bloodsport II, Lady Zand, Brother Blood, the Bad Samaritan, and Intergang are good ones I can think of.

3. Going back and forth between Washington DC and New York.

4. JSA all the way. He'd have been a founding member, and would serve with Allan, Ted, Jay, and Carter as a sort of trainer of heroes. He would have also worked a bit more proactively with the League from time to time, serving as temporary field leader, serving as a mentor to Superman, and not getting along very well with Batman. Of course, he'd also do espionoge work for the government, working for the DEO, working with the Suicide Squad, and probably becoming one of the Black Knights of Checkmate.

5. He'd be good friends with King Faraday and Sarge Steel, and be on very bad terms with Amanda Waller.

6. Nope.

Captian America would fit perfectly into the DC universe.

And the Sentry would make a great Superman Villian. If not a villian, maybe a rival.

Wonderman can be a crazy ass villain for Wonder Woman to fight, and he can always get pwned by her. Awesome. :o

Just for laughs, I'd love to see Namor and his Atlantis just suddenly pop up right next to Aquaman's.

Seriously though, Captain America seems almost tailor-made for old school DC. Cap fighting alongside the JSA or going a few rounds with Batman would be bad-ass. Not to mention he's already got a DC equivalent of Red Skull (Captain Nazi) waiting for him.

I generally hate to make as meaningless and simplistic a post as "I agree with this dude", but...I agree with this dude.

I pretty much agree with all the responses thus far. Cap would be a great addition to the universe.

actually, I think the hulk can pretty much fit in any universe he desires...

daredevil would be pretty much suited for dc as well, perhaps as a alternate hero to bats in gotham, team ups and conflicts all the way could be very interesting.

Nick Fury taking over Checkmate.

A person can't really take over Checkmate. It's an even balance of power. Max Lord took a majority control by intmidating the other King and Queens, and ultimately killing them, but legally it's a four way split of control.

Nick Fury could've taken over the original Checkmate, which didn't do all the Black and White crap, but not this version, simply because the power is truly split into four.

I think super heroes are too well liked in the DCU for spider-man to really fit in. I imagine he'd feel very uncomfortable in the JLA with them being so public. But then again, all it takes is a shiny new suit for him to take his clothes off in front of the media anyway.

How about something simple? Emma Frost in Checkmate.

Wonder what position she would hold in that organization.

And don't say "missionary" you perverts.

She's far too kinky for something like that.

I'm going to stop now before I say anything else stupid

Too late! Had an idea for a pair of Spider-Man book ends that would showcase what his life would be like if he grew up in Gotham and met Batman, or swung through the Metropolis skyline with Superman.

It could show how the two cities are sort of like extreme versions of New York. How a life could differ at either place, and their reactions to the two most legendary super heroes.

Two different Spideys but both share the classic wit.

Hell, I'd pay good money for a pic of Batman and Spidey in his black costume.

I"d like to put Spider man in there just to see him team up with DC's best Heroes and go up against many of DC's worst Super villains.

Other than Iron Man and Captain America, I really don't think any of the Marvel heroes would work well in DC. Daredevil would be viewed as a poor-man's Batman, as would the Sentry with Superman and Quicksilver with The Flash.
And DC's already got THE Captain Marvel. Any other Captain Marvel pales in comparison to the Champion of the Gods.
Anyone else salivating at the thought of a Dr. Doom/Lex Luthor team-up?

Daredevil would be a good rival for protector of Gotham City. Especially if you had Matt Murdock as Bruce Waynes lawyer, that would make things interesting.

Hell, throw in Moonknight, and you can expect all sorts of craziness.

Throw Captain America into Metropolis, do all the street level stuff Superman may overlook. Have him team up with the Guardian, it'd be like looking in the mirror. Kirby created shield slinger to Kirby created shield slinger.

Team up Iron Man with Steel, and you got something achingly similar to the old Iron Man/War Machine team ups.

No matter which way you cut it, Sentry and Superman would be an awesome team up. How would Superman deal with the Void? Would Sentry question his sanity after noting the similarities between him and Supes. Something like "We're so much alike, but I have this dark side dwelling within me. As if I'm his dirty reflection."

Connect Quicksilver to the speed force and you have a nice new rival for top speedster. Though his abilities would be quite similar to the Flash, Pietros attitude is what always made him stand out in a crowd.

Toss Captain Mar-Vell into space and see what happens. Have him meet up with Captain Marvel for some extra craziness.

You say the characters don't work. I say you just gotta find the right story to put them in.

Silver surfer, as that brings in galactus, and also surfer could take out the big players in the DCU, like superman and such like. Would be interesting to see how GL would confront him also.

What about dropping the "Squadron Supreme" into the DCU ? I wonder how the JLA would react ?

I'd put Spiderman in DCU so marvel can stop screwin him over. Other than that I like things the way they are.

1. Who would it be?
Iron Man

2. What DC Super Villain would you mostly put up against him or her?
Lex Luthor.

3. Which DC City would he or she live in?
Metropolis.

4. Would you have him or her involved with any other DC Superhero? If Yes which Individual and/or Group?
His introductory storyline would be in an issue of Green Arrow. Ollie goes after billionaire industrialist Tony Stark for his ties to weapons manufacturing, has the obligatory Misunderstanding Fight, and eventually finds out that Tony's not nearly as bad as he originally thought and actually does a lot of good or whatever. Green Arrow grudingly relents his vendetta against Tony.

As the billionaire playboy, Tony has frequent run-ins with Bruce Wayne, who sees him as competition, but brilliant nonetheless. As the (eventual) Secretary of Defense, he has frequent run ins with Wonder Woman the ambassador, who sees him as a dangerous ends-justify-the-means politician. As Iron Man operating in Metropolis, he has frequent run-ins with Superman, who sees him as a powerful ally, especially against the thorn in both their sides: Lex Luthor.

In this timeline, Stark Industries hires Dr. John Henry Irons, aka Steel, after he leaves Amertek. Tony and John -- both inventive geniuses -- become good friends, and instead of following in Superman's footsteps as he does in the real timeline, John Irons becomes Iron Man's protege. Essentially filling the role of Jim Rhodes aka War Machine in the Marvel universe, John becomes "Steel Man" to Tony's Iron Man. This has some serious repercussions felt down the line, changing some pretty pivotal events in DCU history.

5. Would you have him or her involved with any other DC NON Superhero? If Yes who?
During the time of JLI, Tony also becomes associated with Max Lord. They never really become friends so much as rivals, each trying to one-up the other. As time passes, Tony finds out about Max Lord's plans, exposes him, and replaces him as the Black King of Checkmate.

While not as ruthless as Lord was, Tony is no less paranoid. After hearing about what happened to Batman and to Dr. Light, he fears the JLA would do the same to him at some point. It is at this time that he is also fighting a losing battle with alcoholism, which further distorts his morality and grasp on reality. His paranoia towards superhumans eventually surpasses anything Batman or Max Lord every dreamt of.

Instead of supplanting Brother I from Batman, Tony instead creates his own Brother Eye satellite to monitor and control the metahuman population. And instead of using nanite-infected innocent civilians to do his work, the "OMACs" of Tony's Brother Eye are instead half-robotic clones of Superman, "Cyborgs" in every sense, which he created using Brainiac technology and DNA from a strand of Superman's hair he collected during their very first team-up. The Clupermen are far too powerful for the superheroes of the DCU to handle.

Batman's Brother I, however, is still around; it was never destroyed and more importantly, it never left his control. Using the resources available to him from the Brother I satellite, Batman turns the tide of the engagement, and what follows is the OMAC Wars; Iron Man's Cluperman OMACs versus Batman's Kryptonite-armed OMAC batbots.

At the last minute, it is Superboy who sacrifices himself to defeat the clone army of Supermen. And John Irons -- who had been Tony's ally up to this point -- finally betrays him, giving the heroes one clear final shot at destroying his Brother Eye satellite. At the last confrontation, Wonder Woman snaps Tony's neck, knowing that he would never relent this crusade.

6. Would he or she retain their memory of the MARVEL universe?
No...but during the Crisis or Hypertime storylines, there could be some fun confuzzling moments.
