From Newsarama--Cancelled Batman titles will be (spoilers)

With Robin leaving the Teen Titans and losing his book, WTF is happening to the guy?! He's one of my favorite DC characters.

I never could get into Nightwing, and believe me I tried. It could have been because I had enough titles I was reading as is.

Birds of Prey I was always on-again, off-again. I did enjoy Gail's work. I just follow her wherever she's writing.

Prepare yourselves for the return of THE BATMAN FAMILY.

It'll be Tommy Elliot. Or Damien Wayne. Or Jean-Paul V--

Where the hell IS he, anyway?!

this is just a guest but i think jean paul v is the red robin.because at some dcu panel someone said that jpv is comming back this year and red robin seems like the only way he could comeback and actually fit.Even though the book wont last long

Don't read any of them anyway, so it's all good.

Meh, I rarely picked up an issue of those books until recently with the "tie-ins".

With those titles getting canceled I don't see how it affects both Batman and Detective Comics which are the only two core titles anyway, at least DC comics is cleaning house by canceling worthless titles.

Oh, I like Robin, but I must admit they really haven't given him much to play with. Hope his adventures with Spoiler turn out good enough to warrant a TPB then. Really, he deserved a few more classic adventures like what Batman has than playing second string in his own title.

My money says Nightwing will be replaced by a Jason Todd book and that Robin will simply reboot. Vote Grayson for Batman in '09!

Dude?! Cancelling Robin? Robin is my favorite DC title now. The only RIP stories worth reading were in Robin and Nightwing.

This old trick...?

When it comes to Batman and the respective titles at the moment... do not take anything DC does with his universe at face value.

SO what's the spoiler? Dick sin't taking over the mantle now is he?

So Dick takes over the mantle and Nightwing is cancelled to be replaced by Jason Todd's book, starring Dick Grayson. Detective Comics stars batman who is now Dick Grayson and Batman relaunches as "Batman" featuring the adventures of Robin and sometimes Batman.

6 months later it all goes back to normal. Neat.

You forgot it to add that no one will like it and people will say the devil is not Dr. Hurt, actually

Jean Paul will be a Black Lantern. I bet you anything.

I think the best way to reintroduce Jean Paul would be to have the recently deceased Amon Sur's Sinestro ring recruit him. He was built as a weapon of fear; he's perfect for the ring. The ring would attempt to bring him to Qward for conditioning, as with all Sinestros, but Jean Paul would resist and seek out Batman for aid in ridding himself of the ring. When the Sinestro Corps tried to recruit Batman, he was able to override the ring with willpower, but Jean Paul was always weak-willed, which is why he so readily submerged himself in different identities and philosophies, unable to really decide what he himself wanted for his life. I think I neat idea would be for Jean Paul to undergo the same seven-week isolation ritual Batman underwent during 52, as a means of finding his own identity to help him shake off the ring. The best part is that Jean Paul's system-induced delusions would probably manifest through the ring during such a ritual; he'd find himself facing walking, talking ring constructs of St. Dumas, his father, or even himself as Batman.
