Fun Science Fiction Shows?

Well, with this season coming to the end and the summer season starting, I'm wondering... are there any fun Science Fiction shows coming out? I don't want the grim stuff like Galactica, I want the fun & exciting stuff like Dr. Who.

If you haven't already checked iy out try Eureka on SciFi. The 2nd part of season 3 starts July 10th..you can find all of sesaon 1 on IMDB.com or Hulu.

We've had the Easter Doctor Who Special in Britain, should be coming out on DVD soon, the next one should be just around the corner.

BBC Wales has already started advertising the final Torchwood series as coming out soon. I think they're just organising a whole week with one episode a day.

Have a look at The Middleman ( http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1122770/ ), it is a funny British show full of comics, scifi show, etc homages.

Torchwood is more on the vein of adult and grim though.

I don't mind adult, but the grim I can do without. I've actually watched some Torchwood - some episodes aren't too bad, but some are down right terrible.

Sunday at 8pm there's a new show on here in Canada (on either Global or CBC I don't remember which), called Merlin. I'm hopeful for it, in the commercial the flying dragon looked wicked.

I'm always weary of shows on Global or CBC these days. I find both channels are getting a little weak (Global has always been nothing more than a 're-broadcaster', IMO, the only thing that saves it)
