Here is something that will inspire some debate that's a it different. Humour is a very controversial subject in the MCU, I have made complaints about it myself, but at the same time, th humour in some of the movies has simply been brilliant, so which one has made you laugh the most so far?

For me it's GOTG, I actually lol'd several times in the cinema watching this, and the humour holds up a lot on re-watch as well. I also think though Thor, Ant Man, Iron Man and The Avengers had some great humerous scenes, so what do you guys and gals think?

Antman. The humor felt so natural and wasn't misplaced. Whereas in the Avengers movies on the other hand, you have the heroes cracking jokes as Chitauri fly out of the portal

Its a toss between GotG and Ant-Man.

I think Ant Man and GOTG are tied for the most consistently funny.

But the first Avengers had some of the most gut-bustingly funny moments ever in a CBM. Nothing tops Hulk-Loki. Nothing

Agreed.

Hulk/Loki was probably one of the few superhero scenes that made an entire audience roar with laughter.

My vote goes to Ant-Man though since it had me chuckling during most of the movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy, no contest. Ant-Man was funny (Giant Thomas the Tank Engine) and The Avengers had some very funny moments, but GOTG takes it just for the Jackson Pollock line alone.

Hulk-Lokiwas brilliant, but I laughed even more at the prosthetic leg gag in the prison in GOTG, especially once Rocket revealed he didn't need it and his reaction, brilliant stuff.

The only funny part in Guardians was the fake leg part.

Overall, Avengers was funnier.

GotG and Ant-Man.
IM3 and TDW are very funny too for me,but Avengers has some hysterical moments the others don't.

While I am happy GOTG is winning, I actually thought this poll would be a lot closer between all of the movies, interesting.

While GoTG is a very funny film, the "Dance-Off Bro" scene is awful and prevents it from taking my number one spot. People criticise Thor 2 and AoU for killing tension with humour, but I think this scene is by far the worst offender. Ronan is literally about to commit genocide, and Star-Lord seems to think it's hilarious.

The original Thor gets my vote. The fish-out-of-water comedy in that movie was superb.

I don't recall the Avengers cracking jokes at all during that final battle scene. Sure, RDJ made a couple of quips, but I don't think that qualifies as "cracking jokes". Also the rest of the team was taking everything very seriously.

I really have Zero problems with AoU's humour,I preferred it to Avengers' humour. But yeah Thor's was great,it made the movie fun where it could have easily dragged.

Have to disagree on the dance off scene, it was literally the last thing I was expecting at that point, that's what made it so funny. There was no other way they could defeat Ronan really, they were clearly physically outmatched and had tried everything else to put him down.

I agree about Thor though, some great humour in that movie, and it always came in appropriate places.

It baffles me too. Yeah the dance off fit the tone of the rest of the film and Peter's character but it pulled me out first time I saw the film. It was silly and funny but it totally killed any tension that was present in that scene.

I didnt see Stark, Cap nor Thor cracking jokes when that meteor was dropping in AoU or when Stark was carrying the nuke in the first film. It really is odd that people criticize those movies and GotG gets a pass for it. I applaud Gunn for pulling off that dance off scene though.

The only Time I felt humour was overdone in the MCU was in Thor the final battle. Elsewhere I didn't mind it. I've laughed every time sometime did or did something funny in all the films. Especially in the Thor films and Avengers.

EDIT: I like GotG. Marvel pulled it effortlessly. I'm just not over the moon about it like most people. Its a good film but it's basically more or less like the first Avengers, only in space.

For me TDW and IM3 are the biggest offenders when it comes to jokes being in the wrong places and killing the tension of the scene, it's probably why they are my 2 least liked MCU movies.

I didn't find neither Avengers movie had it as bad as those 2 movies, not even close. Of my many problems with AOU, the humour wasn't really one of them. With GOTG I think the great characterisation and the huge amounts of heart help the humourous scenes be more accepted. Same with Ant Man.

Even though GOTG is probably supposed to be the funniest one, I didn't laugh with it nearly as much as I did with The Avengers and Iron Man 3.

I can accept characters like Stark, Clint and Peter joking or quipping during scenes that are meant not be funny because its within character.

One of the best character moments was with Hawkeye in AoU when he gave Wanda that speech. Kinda defined his character for me so did Stat Lord's dance off. Its in all in characterization. Fantastic writing from the two directors.

Can't wait to see what Gunn has install for GotG Vol.2 though.

Well in the comics Star Lord is a humourous character as well, he was cracking jokes through out the Annihilation War in the comics, he is just a bit more cynical than the movie version because he has been through more, so it was totally in character.

Stark is a little more serious in the comics than the RDJ version, which bothers me sometimes, but overall it's not a big issue. But just compare the Extremist comic to IM3. There is a big difference.
