FACT: That was not scripted...the punching through was supposed to be done using a different breakaway bottom later on, but Michael Keaton decided that he wasnt gonna let no metal tell him what to do, and used his incredible strenght to actually do it himself, in one shot. Michael Keaton has super strength.
