This is so obviously not true, that its funny.
The film's working title is "The Wedding," in honour of the "The Amazing Spider-Man" comic Annual #21: The Wedding!" which was published in 1987.

Reminds me of Aunt Carnarge.

Would have made sense if Peter didn't ***** out with asking MJ to marry him, haha.

See, that'll be perfect for Harry as a villain, much like the 90s series.

HaHa! I went to IMDB the other day and saw that. I was like WTF.

Peter held the ring up to her and practically said what he wanted for them. :down

Hey, of course you reply to my post, haha.

And with that situation, it was part of Harry's scheming plan...so why didn't Pete try again? A true proposal at the end would've ended the film on a higher note.

No, no...now there will be another film of Peter and MJ bickering and STILL not even married.

Lame.

Speaking of 'The Wedding'

SM3 was so oversaturated with Peter-MJ melodrama / relationship issues .. but, still,

A Marriage between them still seems like the natural direction/progression to take their relationship in. Let's just hope the story doesn't center around their marriage if they do infact choose to incorporate it into the movie.

Why would Peter and MJ get married? They never got married in the comics. :cwink:

You know what I mean. :hehe:

Hey, I only replied because you're view was misguided. I didn't even look at your username until after I read. I was going to reply anyway.

Peter proposing was not Harry's plan. Peter pulled it out, trying to save their relationship. He also was going to do it until she left him at the restaurant. Saying he wimped out was just simply not true.

Also, after all that Symbiote crap, and Harry dying, you wanted him to come in there and be like "uh...marry me still plz? thnx". Would not have fit.

funny, it could be The Webbing :hehe:

The people that send this crap in, need to be cast into the Pit of Eternal Torment. :cmad:

My view is not misguided, at all.

Peter wimped out because he took so freaking long to actually propose to MJ, and I bet he wasn't even going to intentionally purpose at the park, ONLY because MJ was "breaking up" with him.

Just my view that, again, Peter is being written like a child.

And a proposal at the end would've been perfect, imo.

If the book itself has Spidey swinging around with MJ in her arms, and LAUGHING, then if that scene were in it, a true proposal would've fit.

Spider-Man: The Bite
Spider-Man 2: I Lost My Powers
Spider-Man 3: New Jim-Jams
Spider-Man 4: The Wedding
Spider-Man 5: Spider-Puppies
Spider-Man 6: The Family Meeting

:lmao: Wtf?

Jim-Jams lmao.

working titles are usually a good way to get looky-loos away.

Return of the Jedi was a good example
"Blue Harvest"

I doubt its possible for a movie to be kept top secret today unless its on a soundstage.

LMAO AHHAHA genius

I hope they do a wedding and end the Peter/MJ story in SM4 with a wedding. Thus, closing the door on Raimi's Spidey movies so he and all can move on and in 10 years Marvel can reboot.

Plus it'd piss Joey Q off. But not as a title.

Isn't Raimi signed on for SM5, though? You would think they would have the wedding at the end of that movie.
