fxg: Do you have a favourite shot from the film?

Chad Wiebe : For me it was this one shot where Goku crossed the lava lake.

2009. dragonball movie. you know that something is wrong when the effect supervisor says that hes favorite shot is goku crossing the lava. you know that something is very wrong.

lol, oh lordy was this movie made poorly!

KameHameHa for me but Goku flying into it was very weak and looked corny

not to mention the 2d look of the energy waves in that moment

Goku crossing the lava lake?

This movie is basically like the Roger Corman Fantastic 4. Fox didn't want one of their rivals to get their hands on the DB movie rights because they were about to expire, so they Macgyver'd together a slapdash movie so they could retain their option. It's not because Fox intends on doing a good Dragonball movie down the road, but rather because they're afraid of what it'd do to them if they had to compete against a Dragonball movie from Warner Bros., Paramount, Sony, or Universal. To them, it was worth 45 million to not have to compete against a well made Dragonball movie. The same can be said of Street Fighter.

could be right. because if paramount would give a director 150 millions nad make it like TF this would make a lot of money.

yep, Timstuff is 100% right -their behaviour is beyond childish (in a stupid way)

Someone wipe this film off the face of the Earth and give us a reboot.

lmao, the lava scene?.....really?....the lava scene?

you have to understand he couldnt pick anything better he he he.

he didn't want to spoil the people who haven't seen the movie yet -that's pretty much everybody
