So im outside at a fire drill, one of my friends calls me and its something like rly important, some guy said put your phone away so i did, my friend calls back for plans to meet him he had just gotten out of jail. so anyway some security monitor yellss give me the phone, so im like ughh no? and hes grabs my shoulder and is like give me the PHONE. like this is Sparta type ****.

anyway i'm like **** off your not getting it, i get escorted to the deans and my friend Vinny starts talking about the security monitor, so i'm like yea the guys a ****ing *****e bag, the guy clearly heard me say it.

so i got written up for insubordination, and ****.

It's not that hard to just silence your phone and let the caller leave a message. Put the phone away means to keep it away.

Sure, they have no right to try and take it away, but you still deserved to be punished.

It's important for you to take the high road, and not talk like this. Show some originality, and conduct yourself like a professional. One never knows who is watching, and it is critical to always be proper and have high social etiquette in various environments. You may want to keep this in mind the next time, so you don't end up catching insubordination. How we conduct ourselves orally and what we say is like what we wear and how well-groomed we are.
