I think there is an expectation that you have to inhabit the role more, and provide a solid performance that makes the character distinct, while giving more physical commitment, too.
Really? I don't.
Well I do hope Gadot is capable of that, but I do think it's also worth noting the role she is most famous for is famous for her standing around with cute...but fierce pout. Just saying...
Jillian Michaels has a strong yet feminine physique that might be attainable for Gadot with hard work and discipline.
And Gadot's frame isn't as small as I initially thought.
I want a known actor to play Steve Trevor, but who can fit alongside Gadot? Logan Lerman is too young, but what about Sam Worthington?
People have suggested Lerman for Steve Trevor?
Why would you even bring up Lerman? He doesn't fit at all. I don't like Sam either. A good Steve alongside Gal would be Garrett Hedlund, or Ben McKenzie.
Not until that post.
Sam would be an interesting pick, because of his background with greek myths in films
It may be breaking the fourth wall, but I want him just because of that
Worthington is too boring to me and his background in films that deal with Greek myths doesn't add or take away from it.
Honestly, I always thought that Ryan Gosling would make a great Steve Trevor. I think he's got the acting chops for that role and I think he's more suited for a role like that as opposed to being considered for roles like the Flash or Green Lantern as some have suggested.
Plus, it would make sense to have Gal's male lead be a bigger star than her in both resume and in skills like how Adams was for Cavil when it comes to Gal potentially starring in her own film as WW.
Armie Hammer for Steve Trevor.
Trevor has to be charismatic, not Hal Jordan charming, but still have a wit and sense of humor.
Trevor's characterisation has been all over the place in the comics and animated universe. The 2009 movie has him as basically a blonde Hal Jordan, while the New 52 has him as a stoic soldier type.
I always felt Steve should be a hero in his own right and more or less a blond Indiana Jones so to speak.
I don't think he's very interesting, and serves his purpose better if his role is limited.
I adored the way the Timmverse JLAU handed Steve Trevor.
With Diana meeting him in WW2 and then later visiting him in the modern day in a nursing home. Probably the most touching moment of the whole series.
Yes, this. He is quite down to earth and has a sense of dry wit but can also handle himself. (I wish I could play him if I was an actor.)
But at the same time, he's an equalist. Meaning while he's tough, he isn't one of those overtly macho men who think men are the only dominant. He doesn't have old fashioned ideas about how men and women should be. He is capable and man enough to handle a strong woman like Wonder Woman without ever being intimidated by her beauty.
I think he's interesting. Or at least I see a potential for him to be interesting with the right actor. He is a man who takes the backseat for a woman. How often do you see that in adventure? Almost never. It's always the guy who is front and center.
He is kind of the male version of Lois Lane, a man who had given up on women and just focused on his career until a wonder comes along. But I think it will take the right kind of actor to develop his character so he's his own person.
I think those were from before, when she had more weight on... no? She has become incredibly skinny in later years so hopefully she can put that back on.
Like Roger Moore in his prime?
Yeah, you can really see a difference I think. If Gal got back up to that weight, she would look quite a bit healthier and better suited for the part in my humble opinion.
Wonder Woman and friends
These were fresh on.
Her Amazon sisters, perhaps?
Jillian Michaels body type seems very ideal for an Amazon warrior princess. It's sexy and athletic. However, Jillian Michaels's face is no wonderwoman. Also, there are more body types that fit for an Amazon warrior princess. I just saying that I wouldn't mind if Gal look like that for the role.
