I think it'd be cool to see some of them reprise their roles in Deadpool. For example, imagine Paquin's Rogue taking Cariano's place here:

Oh, of course, but I don't think it is really productive when someone is basically just saying, ''IT SUCKS'' or ''FAIL!" all the time. Frankly, it gets annoying. Like yes, we've heard you say that about 12 times already. We get it.
I'm all for some debate and people voicing their concerns, but not really when it's just repeating the same thing over and over again.

I undestand you can get annoyed but some posters, but there is always the option of ignoring them. And by that I just mean not reading their posts. It's super easy. There is an user that posts all the time and s/he antagonize everything, everyone, all the time. I just chose to skip his/hers posts. I rarely read them.

Now on topic, I would love to see Rogue in the present. Actually she is probably the only thing that could make me excited about a Gambit solo film and I said that here several times.

And I wouldn't mind at all to see Anna Paquin as Rogue again. Actually I'd love it. We know she can play a badass with southern accent.

its not that hard to understand fans complaining, what about empathy? if fans complain over and over its basically because they clearly are really frustrated with the franchise and they cant keep it to theirself, u know... that bad energy has to be put out there somehow, the fans need to speak it out, and those thoughts/opinions they have wont change because of magic, those opnions will stay as long as fox keeps making the same mistakes.

so those users who have a problem with fans being that passionate/frustrated, better deal with it, because it wont stop in the near future. So they better deal with it or as you say, use the ignore bottom. Its pretty simple. But complaining about fans not happy doesnt make any sense to me

But that isn't what I'm talking about. As I already said, I'm all for people voicing their opinions and concerns, what I get annoyed by is the trolling of 'lol it sux'' type comments. Trust me, I completely understand where people are coming from in regards to this franchise. They've pushed so many great characters to the side to let the handful of usual suspects shine.(My 3 favorite X characters are Emma, Psylocke, and Storm. All of whom were wasted for the most part, so I get the frustration and anger) By all means, keep voice your frustrations. I agree that it is the only way to create real change. I should have worded my last post better. My bad.

Anyway, what other characters do you guys think would pop up in this solo film?

rogue shouldn't even be in first gambit film.gambit should be about gambit with thieves and assassins' guilds.if people want it to be comic accurate and gambit joins x-men at end

Agreed! Plus it'll give Storm an opportunity at character development and it's a good way to show different sides to both their personalities. I always found their relationship really interesting. They're best friends yet often they exhibit attraction towards each other.

I also would like to see Storm in a movie called "Storm". And I'd rather see Gambit as a supporting character in her solo movie.

However, all those spin-offs are a chance to develop and give more screentime for other characters. The main X-Men movies aren't enough, especially when they always focus on the same characters. So, if they're actually doing a Gambit movie, I wouldn't mind seeing Storm in it at all.

That's why I want all the X-Men movies to be set in the same time period. Not for the sake of big crossover event, but because you create a more "appropriate environment" to develop and give screentime to all of those characters.

Hi, everyone. Really excited for this movie.
I am sure Tatum will be a good Gambit. He is really pationate about it.

I am ok with delays. FOX can take as much time as they need if they will give me a good Gambit solo.

I am a huge Romy fan but Rogue should`nt appear in first Gambit movie. Bella Donna must be in it. Would be happy for Rogue to appear in sequel or see them together in X team movie in future. Also Rogue must be recasted for it for sure. Full reboot for her.

I hope this movie will be a part of Deadpool Universe and timeline and stay away from Apocalypse as much as possible.

Would be cool to see Sinister in it. Not as big bad but as villain in shadows. Maybe connacted to Guilds or just as to appear as Essex.

And i want to see a good freaking team movie about the actual X-men and Gambit but that's not happening any time soon. Storm and Gambit having a thieving adventure would be at least interesting

It would be electrifying. The closest we would get to see Storm/Gambit together in the big screen is with Kings man where Halle/Channing are co workers for Statesman agency.

um... yes, she does!

Also, I watched that leaked footage of Captain Marvel and I was perplexed at how darn good she looks! It would be sooo cool if we could see Anna Paquin go head to head with Brie Larson, like in the comics (Rogue vs. ms marvel)

^ During my current attempt at exploring the X-Men's literature, I've run across two AMAZING uses of Rogue. Age of X (which would have been great for DOFP) and the all-female X-Men 1 (that train scene was eXcellent!!!). And those are probably not her best appearances.

Sounds like more good news to me. Especially if they just cut the budget down and made a smaller film. Fox sent Chan's production company those ping-pong paddles with Gambit on them in June, so things seem to be chugging along.

They probably started over a long time ago, so hopefully things are a bit closer to being presentable now that we have those release dates through 2021 set.
