Sequels "Gambit" starring Channing Tatum? - Part 4

They seem to be struggling with their main installments and they postponed new mutants despite it already being filmed and pretty much left the fans in the dark, do you think they’d want a gambit film that they’ve been rewriting and hiring new directors for constantly ?

They announced a kitty pryde movie and a multiple man movie but I’m almost positive xmens gonna be on the shelf until marvel picks it back up. Fox knows they’re too unimaginative to give fans something like that
 
And Tatum never teased his take on the role, I’m with Psylockolossus on this one. MCU is a lot more promising. They’ve been sticking the damn character in all the games I’ve played online including marvel heroes and contest of Champions. I don’t know why all the hate for the southerners.

You can’t have a world of spinoffs without having covered the basics first

I think Logan is a bit overrated but not bad, DP2 is nowhere near as good as the first one. So to me those successes don't prove that the Fox spin offs are a good idea. Like X-er said, the basics have to be thoroughly covered first, which Fox hasn't, at all. So a fresh start from Marvel, is a good option. Especially since they now know exactly what not to do. Under Fox, Gambit's first appearance was in a Wolverine origin movie...What the actual F?!
 
Disagree. IMO both "Logan" and the TWO "Deadpool" are among the best comic book adaptations.

It’s just a vibe. And I would say the vibe of Gambit has a romantic or sex comedy vibe to it. While it is also still very much a superhero movie with villains and heroes, as all these movies are.”

“Gambit has a great script and we’re looking to start that movie early next year,” said Kinberg. “Multiple Man, that script’s being worked on right now.”
 
They've nailed the comedy part already because it's been a right laugh following the development of this.

I don't believe this movie is happening , but I did like what he said about gambit. They at least show more understanding of the character than wolverine origins.
 
Kinberg is all talk again. Did anyone ask him yet about the x-men getting rebooted into the mcu?
 
Hahaha first it was a heist movie, now it's gonna feel like a romantic comedy? Come February, it'll be a musical.

While I think it can be both, that's definitely very different.

Romantic comedy feels like a Gambit and Rogue story while heist felt more likely to feature the Teeves Guild and Assassins Guild.
 
I actually love rom coms so I think the reaction has been a bit silly, I mean deadpool was a rom com. It’s not like it’s going to be sleepless in Seattle or something
 
Spoilers: This movie is not going to be anywhere near as good as Deadpool 1. Even if they do try to pull off the romantic comedy heist tone.

Spoilers: You cannot see the future so Gambit Movie can be as good as Deadpool 1.
