Makes sense, City Watch would probably be Lannister soldiers. They're divided between KL and Casterly Rock.

Lol DS is right... they have lions on their shoulders... how ****ing stupid
Yep. :funny:

Marv is right though, this is how it has been the whole series. Robert was even using them I believe.

Except that is exactly who he sent, with Lion Pauldrons to boot:

Don't blame me for that. It is what happened. We know how stupid they can be on this show nowadays. :funny:

i didn't blame you... look above, i said you were right and how goddamn stupid it felt. that's just weird to me it wasn't kings guard.

and then you edited it...

I would say if he wanted his mother safe, he'd send his best men... The Kingsguard. :o

but whatever, its just me.
Did she really need protection with King Kong Bundy by her side? :hehe:

Is it just me, or does it feel like we're actually entering an endgame after tonight?

Most definitely. Especially since a lot of characters are going to eventually meet one another. Which is something I feel that needs to happen soon. The only complaint I have with the episodes so far in season 6 is I don't feel there is a good flow between scenes. This could easily be fixed by characters finally meeting one another, example would be Sansa getting to the wall and meeting up with Jon.

Saw it after the post. I was looking for an image of the scene and couldn't find it. Shouldn't there only be like 9 Kingsguard, and she already had one with her? Also, they seemed to be there to keep her in, not exactly protect her. She was fine as long as she didn't enter the Sept.

The King's Guard would have went with the King to the Sept.

Besides all they have to do to protect Cersei is keep her from leaving the Keep. Not defend her from a horde of villains. Surely even Lannister soldiers can handle that job.

I think this is a pretty good episode. But really, how dumb that the first seeds of Red Wedding revenge we get are perpetrated by Ramsey Boolton.

its just the lannister guards have never turned on cersei... it felt out of place to me that they all of a sudden prevent her from doing what she wants. call me crazy I DONT CARE :cmad:

And all that's left is Walder.

I vote for Arya and Nymerias pack to kill everything at the twins :o

Well after tonight, you are definitely not crazy. She is definitely back in charge.

im not a big fan of theon leaving sansa... simply ending the story with theon/ramsay etc...

And out of place. He's practically begging to be accepted into the Stark family again and then cuts and runs to the Iron Islands.

Yeah I'm not sure how I feel about that either. On the one hand it will be interesting to see what goes down when he gets back to the Iron Islands and Euron is running the Iron Islands. On the other hand Sansa needs all the help she can get and Theon staying with her could only mak her safer. But that would have forced him to go all the way to the Wall and then back to Pyke which would be difficult and potentially more dangerous. And that's if Jon would even let him leave. He thinks Jon will either kill him or force him to take the Black and neither appeal to Theon. So there is some logic in his decision to leave Sansa before they reach the Wall. And I'm not sure there was much more tell about the Theon/Ramsay plot. He isn't going to be the one to kill Ramsay so he can't get his revenge, and he probably wouldn't be allowed to go with the army to Winterfell because he is hated by the North and Jon needs some of the Northerners on his side. Bringing Theon with the army might cause some issues. So while I would have liked to see Theon go to the Wall the Ramsay/Theon plot would probably be over whether he went to the Wall or not.

I was thinking he could go to the wall assuming Sansa would protect him.. then Jon... like Stannis in the books.. Chains up theon... and then the pink letter happens "i want my bride an my Reek"...

That would have worked. Makes me wonder just what they've got planned for him. If he spends the rest of the season at Pyke standing around looking like a ***** and getting treated like **** by Euron that will suck.

I don't mind Theon returning to Pyke, he said it himself that staying with Sansa and going to CB won't help him make amends.

Anyway, great to have Jon back, though I was slightly disappointed with the ritual. I was hoping for something more divine. What I took from it is that Jon could have been any old donkey being resurrected.

I also find Davos a bit ludicrous so far this season. Between his lack of acknowledgement of Shireen/Stannis and his lucky stab in the dark of "lol, bring him back to life", I just can't grasp his motivations.

I think him getting Sansa to the wall and to safety would be making amends in a way. he just up and trusts Brienne and Pod? After the tricks ramsays pulled on him? id think he would be so ****ing paranoid he wouldn't leave her side until she was where he wanted her to be. Going to Pyke just doesn't make much sense to me. Reek back home? talk about misplacement. its awkward if anything.

I do not make dwarf jokes

:lmao:

"If I ever have an idea like that again...punch me in the face."

:funny:

As an aside, these 2 episodes have already blown that 4chan leak out of the water. Doran was still alive in episode 7 and Balon died from a heart attack. :woot:

Then again, I should have known it was ******** the moment they claimed Frankenmountain would speak. :o

I had no idea about those 4chan spoilers... never head either of those things... All i know is what I have shared and that episode 9 battle description.
