Wait...Jogen?
He didn't die there as far as I can recall, right?

Wow, just wow. All these emotional moments are just as intense as they were to read. Shae......

I suppose a packing crate is more comfy than a wooden barrel, lol :p

How awesome was that LS reveal!

She's been cut from the show. That's all there is to it.

Pretty good finale. I liked it better than last year's, but not as much as 1 & 2.

So is
the Hound dead or what? I haven't read the books.

Yes JJJ.

where the hell was Stoneheart. you kidding me?! i could have sworn the music in the final scene was for her.

I always assumed he was but there were those who said no, so I guess I don't really know. He seemed pretty screwed to me.

I liked a great deal about that finale. The Tywin/Tyrion scene was pretty much perfect, even though there was a large omission from the books. But that Jaime/Tyrion scene... I dunno, I feel that could have been so much more. It was a sweet moment between the two brothers, but the book's version was exactly the opposite to that. But, I'm not going to hold it against the show. Overall, I liked the finale.

I guess they wanted a more up beat ending rather then ending it the way we all wanted it to end

What did they leave out? I forgot already.....

If so, it was such a pointless, stupid death. Great scene, but damn Hound, why'd you have to be so pig-headed? :csad:

Not sure about that. They very well may just be saving her for next season. This season was already evidence that they're doing all they can to slow down and draw things out. Though, to be honest, I'm not sure what her point is in the books yet.

Any who, while that was a pretty solid finale...was anyone else kind of disappointed? Both because of the lack of a certain character we expected to show up, and for me...Shae.

Having read the book, I knew what her fate was going to be. But book Shae was a radically different character. She wasn't very smart, she was petulant, she was greedy, and all in all, you weren't surprised in the least when she betrayed Tyrion at his trial and did the nasty with Tywin. However, they set show Shae up as a much more intelligent and rounded character. And I kept waiting for them to slightly change the way she was killed in the show, because, honestly, I just didn't buy that Shae was stupid enough to think that Tyrion really didn't want her, and I didn't buy that she was vindictive enough to actually try and get him killed because of it. It just didn't feel right to me, not with the way they built her character.

It was still acted wonderfully by Dinklage, but it just didn't sit right with me. And also, I was surprised they killed off Jojen. Another character that is still alive in the books.

I guess Lena Headey trolled us with her [blackout]"Stone of Heart"[/blackout] instagram pic. :(

Anyone else felt that the Shae/Tyrion scene felt a bit too rushed? The Tyrion/Tywin scene rocked big time though.

I was a bit surprised by how the Jamie/Tyrion scene played out but I actually liked it. It played out more consistent with how they portrayed Jaime in the show if that makes sense.
