Games that everyone else doesn't like, but you do

X2 Wolverine's Revenge. Oh god, I could not stop playing that game during 03.

Assassin's Creed
Plenty of people like it, but a lot of people got really mad over it.
AC is one of my favorite next gen experiences. Prince of Persia should have taken more notes.

GTA4

It seems that more and more people hate it.
Can´t really start to understand why, but, oh well...

The Punisher
Army Of Two

"The Punisher" was AMAZING.

I think I was the only person on earth who enjoyed "Blinx: The Timesweeper".

Oh, and I loved the crap out of "Zelda: Wind Waker".

Assassin's Creed
Army of Two
Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (Some people really hate it...)

Final Fantasy XII anf Final Fantasy X-2! 2 of the most underrated games of the last generation that seem to get alot of hate. Both are amazing titles with excellent gameplay.

Prince of Persia should have taken more notes.
on what? How to make huge beautiful environments and give the player barely anything to do in them outside of the same recycled objectives and feature lackluster combat. POP pretty much nailed that.

MotorStorm, a lot of hate behind the title, but I think its fantastic.

Oh, Second Sight. To be fair though, I don't think many people even knew that game existed. Same with Psychonauts.

Prince of Persia is just, go to new place, run and jump to get to one of 4 bosses, fight boss, collect seeds, repeat.
PoP is just as, if not more, repetitive than Assassin's Creed.

However, AC had really fun free running mechanics and combat, and the actual Assassination missions were varied and cool. Free Running especially was so much better in AC then in PoP. You never felt like you were on a streamlined path, and you could climb up almost everything. Prince is so streamlined there's usually only 1, maybe 2, ways of getting to a certain spot. I went back and ran around a lot in AC because of how fun it was, I can't see myself doing that with Prince.

while I do agree, those elements are better in assassin's creed, that's like claiming cat crap tastes better than dog crap, at the end of the day, your still eating crap. both games suffer from the same core flaws and both games are sub par when compared to their spiritual predecessors in the Sands of Time trilogy.

For me, there wasn't a Sands of Time trilogy, just a great game followed by 2 forgettable games

Well, this thread is about games everyone else doesn't like, but you do.

I love Assassin's Creed. It never felt repetitive to me, because I broke things up with exploring and combat. The controls, graphics and gameplay are solid. AC is one of my favorite games this generation.

I agree with this. The game, for me, didnt get repetitive at all my first run through. It wasnt until my 2nd run through that i felt it was repetitive. The combat, controls and visuals were all above avg, thats not debatable.

oh Id also like to add X-men Next Dimension. I thought it was a pretty solid fighter and was one of my favorite X-men games

My only complaint is that there is no way to level select after you've beaten it. More and more games now-a-days leave out this feature.

I played through a second time up to just before the final level, so I could put it in and mess around occasionally.

Yea, i agree completely. They should have broken each assassination into its own chapter. Id of also liked to have been able to go back through the game with all of your abilities/equipment. Maybe these will be addressed in the 2nd game that is coming.
