Question in title.
on what? How to make huge beautiful environments and give the player barely anything to do in them outside of the same recycled objectives and feature lackluster combat. POP pretty much nailed that.Prince of Persia should have taken more notes.

while I do agree, those elements are better in assassin's creed, that's like claiming cat crap tastes better than dog crap, at the end of the day, your still eating crap. both games suffer from the same core flaws and both games are sub par when compared to their spiritual predecessors in the Sands of Time trilogy.Prince of Persia is just, go to new place, run and jump to get to one of 4 bosses, fight boss, collect seeds, repeat.
PoP is just as, if not more, repetitive than Assassin's Creed.
However, AC had really fun free running mechanics and combat, and the actual Assassination missions were varied and cool. Free Running especially was so much better in AC then in PoP. You never felt like you were on a streamlined path, and you could climb up almost everything. Prince is so streamlined there's usually only 1, maybe 2, ways of getting to a certain spot. I went back and ran around a lot in AC because of how fun it was, I can't see myself doing that with Prince.

Well, this thread is about games everyone else doesn't like, but you do.
I love Assassin's Creed. It never felt repetitive to me, because I broke things up with exploring and combat. The controls, graphics and gameplay are solid. AC is one of my favorite games this generation.
I agree with this. The game, for me, didnt get repetitive at all my first run through. It wasnt until my 2nd run through that i felt it was repetitive. The combat, controls and visuals were all above avg, thats not debatable.
saints row 1 & 2
My only complaint is that there is no way to level select after you've beaten it. More and more games now-a-days leave out this feature.
I played through a second time up to just before the final level, so I could put it in and mess around occasionally.
