What games should be turned into movies. I remember hearing a while back that they were going to make a live action Zelda movie. I think they should make a live action Prince of Persia movie!!

I remember reading about Jerry Bruckheimer picking up the rights to Prince of Persia a couple years ago back when Sands of Time made a huge splash in the gaming world. Unfortunately there has been no further news about that ever since.

Sands of Time would be a FANTASTIC movie. So would the first MGS. Of course, you'd have to change them a little bit. Remove the dreamworld portion of PoP, and write some new dialogue for MGS. "Do you think love can blossom even on the battlefield?" Yeah, thanks Otacon.

I'd also love to see Fable and Shadow of the Colossus, but in a condensed (with fewer colossi) yet expanded (backstory) way.

but i would like to see maybe devil may cry...that'd be good..

Im playing Ratchet and Clank : A Crack in Time and wondering why the heck Sony Pictures hasnt turned this series into a movie yet? It looks exactly like a Pixar film. It has great characters, an interesting universe, tons of humor and a lovable protagonist and sidekick. It seems like a no brainer. I can see a Ratchet film doing very well in the theaters. Have it coincide with a new game and you have a success. Ratchet and Clank could be the next best thing if they thought of exposing it to a broader audience and considering the game is already constructed like an animated film, why not go in that direction?

I think a Ratchet & Clank movie would be pretty dope too because I like the characters and whatnot, but could never really get into the games.

Kingdom Hearts would make a better tv show than movie. There is just too much stuff to fit into a 2 hour movie but they could realistically make a weekly series out of that

You'd need more characters unless the main character was to talk to himself a lot.

if the directors/script writers would actually decide to go with the game's plot instead of changing everything around, then I'd say :

Street fighter
Super Mario world

Heavy Rain, Uncharted, and Demon's Souls.

Heavy Rain and Uncharted are no brainers, and I do believe film lisences have been picked up for both already anyway. Demon's Souls tho, I could see that being a dark and gritty film with amazing CG, and with such a silent world (well silence talking wise, I mean it's all demon's and human stragglers outside of the nexus) hopefully it would keep the cheezy Hollywood popcorn flick catch phrases at bay a bit.

I'd say inFAMOUS as well, but almost certain a film version of that is already in the works as well, so not so much a wish list as a wait since it is coming out.

Does Demon's Souls even have a story? I have the game but unfortunately have never gotten a chance to paly it but from what Ive read, its pretty weak in that aspect.
