True. But then again the original TFA cast photo had only Daisy Ridley amongst the new cast (and of course Carrie Fisher). Then we got Lupita Nyong'o and Gwendoline Christie casting news. So I'm waiting to see if that happens here as well.

Where are my X-wings damnit!!!!

This crew might not use X-Wings for this mission.
Allot of people I think are just hearing Rogue and assuming = X-wing Squadron.
This crew was a secret mission, although the crawl does include "Rebel spaceships striking from a hidden base" Maybe X-Wings will provide cover, and they may have them (for initial drop and/or escape) , but more likely they'll inevitably commandeer Imperial ship(s), to infiltrate the Death Star to get the plans.

That is what these guys inevitably delivered to- the X-Wings bright orange jumpsuit wearing crew.
These guys though, are on a different type of mission, they might not do the full frontal X-Wing attack.

Maybe they should have called this film "REBEL SPIES" as per the classic a New Hope crawl.
Which is how they were referred to:

"...During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon..."

The first image released certainly reads more covert-operation.

Sadley as that reality sinks in, those expecting/assuming bright "Rogue Squadron" might start whining.
Even though this concept is totally awesome.

I really like those other two helmets. Hopefully we see those in the film. I'm excited to see any other "Special" Stormtroopers; like snow-troopers, scout-troopers, etc.
