Gauntlet: Slayer Edition announced for PS4

PS4 version offers new realm, weapons, abilities, monsters, and more.

Warner Bros. and Arrowhead Studios are bringing dungeon brawler Gauntlet to PlayStation 4 as Gauntlet: Slayer Edition on August 11 for $19.99, the publisher announced.
The co-op game offers four fantasy-based characters—the Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie, and Elf—each with a distinctive play style, and unique strengths and weaknesses.
The PlayStation 4 version will offer an unexplored realm where players will encounter new hero weapons and abilities, new monster types, additional features that increase team dynamics and strategy, and new gameplay modes to be revealed this month.
Pre-orders will include a code to unlock “Mordok’s Screaming Hammer” and “Reaper’s Visage Helm” for the Warrior.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that Gauntlet: Slayer Edition has now officially launched for PlayStation 4. Interested players can grab hold of a copy via the PlayStation Network for $19.99.

Based on one of the first multiplayer arcade games, this new Gauntlet experience is a perfect couch co-op game, allowing players to select from four classic fantasy-based characters - Warrior, Wizard, Valkyrie or Elf - each with a distinctive play style, unique strengths and weaknesses. In this enhanced edition of the game, players will encounter new hero weapons and abilities, new monster types, and additional features that increase team dynamics and strategy, including spin attacks, shield throws, summoning, and magic abilities for the iconic characters, as well as a new, anticipated Endless gameplay mode.
