General Raam?

Can someone please give me some pointers on how to kill General Raam? I'm struggling, I need help...

Get the torque bow and the regular rifle w/ chainsaw.

Use the torque bow to scare away the Kryll from RAAM, and when they leave RAAM, load a clip into him with the rifle. When he comes for you (I stayed at the first bricks for a long time), jump over the block, do a roadie run to the block adjacent from it on the other side of the lights.

Do the same strategy (If you have more torque ammo still). If not, try grenades. But I got him with 1 torque shot left and loading into him with the rifle.

Hmm.... can't find the Torque bow. Does it take a long time to kill him?!

I used the sniper rifle to take him out.

Sniper rifle? Did you use that to scare the Kryll, or to kill RAAM himself?

I used it to kill him. Now using the sniper rifle was my role, i had a partner shooting at him as well, i think with maybe the torque bow.

I wish my AI Rom would shoot him with the Torque Bow instead of running straight into his fire!

I keep losing cause of bloody AI Dom dying it annoyed the hell out of me. So I had to get my brother to back me up.

I just left Dom alone, I didn't heal him when I beat RAAM. Just leave Dom alone when he's down, and RAAM will concentrate on you.

All you need to do is stay behind that first barricade, and use your machine gun and shoot him in or around his head. That's all, he usually dies before you run out of ammo with your main gun.

Did we ever get to know his name in game?
It seems to me I missed terrible lots right up to the train sequence.

Yeah don't bother about Dom, especially on Hardcore. I pretty much used the same strategy, use the Lancer and the torque bow. There is a torque bow on the train right before you fight RAAM. It is kinda hidden but its across from where the ammo is. Its leaning against the wall.

I beat Raam on casual mode with the sniper rifle alone.

It's a little different on insane, which I am still trying to defeat Raam.
