A while back, as some of you may remember, I posted a thread outlaying basic do's & don'ts of comic book filmmaking. Among them were such guidelines as "Cast according to suitability for the role" & "Be true to the source material but don't feel handcuffed by it".
Anyways, a new one has come to my attention:
Make one movie at a time. Focus on the film you're currently working on, not on any potential spinoff or sequel. This doesn't mean you shouldn't do ANYTHING to set up the next film, (Spider-Man) but don't get do wrapped up in "next" that you lose the here & now. (Blade Trinity) Do that & the "next" film is almost guaranteed never to happen.
