^no it's really not when the whole thread has a spoiler tag on it. It's like going out in the rain and being mad you got wet.
You do realize there is one major thread for Star Wars news right? You have been here long enough, but you seem to still not understand how this place works.

Reasons to be happy about the new Star Wars movies. It has already made all this possible:

Entertainment Weekly - Star Wars to release 20 books in journey to The Force Awakens -- exclusive

http://www.ew.com/article/2015/03/09/star-wars-release-20-books-journey-force-awakens

“The Force Awakens is an extraordinarily, heavily guarded storyline. To track it, a lot of top-secret meetings were happening up in San Francisco as we worked through this program,” says Andrew Sugerman, executive vice president of Disney Publishing Worldwide. The company is managing the release through its own imprints as well as at least seven outside companies, among them sci-fi publisher Del Rey, DK, and Marvel Comics.

Novelists and editors had a constant back-and-forth exchange of ideas with the Lucasfilm story braintrust, comprised of the screenwriters and filmmakers crafting both the new trilogy and stand-alone movies.

“The partnership with the story group and the editorial team always had to be true to the sanctity of the film while making sure that we find these moments to introduce hints, clues, and puzzle pieces,” Sugerman says. “Without revealing what those pieces are, it will just allow readers to speculate about the new film: What could a location mean, or what could a character mean?”

Oh man. What a year this is going to be!

Jedi bibliothek - The awakening of power in books and comics [UPDATE]

...

UPDATE: From Studio Fun is now also a "Female Character Replica Journal" for December 22, 2015Amazon.com listed, which is quite to the diary of Rey from The Force Awakens can act. Fun studio also has a " Mix & Match "book planned to film.

According geleakter description, this involves the "three new heroes" in an adventure that is not based on the film.If I had to guess, I would say this book is a prequel to the film and focuses on Finn, Rey and Poe Dameron, the characters from the first trailer. The book is a hardcover and is the same size as the Journey to Episode VII -Books have.

There are also catalog entries for a young adult novel and a " Read-Along Storybook and CD ", but with the dubious Publication date 1 March 2016, so we are not sure whether the actually appear.

We hope this article was helpful for you. Minor updates we wear everyday in our database so immediately in ourpublication calendar appear. For larger news you learn it of course in our blog.

You do realize there is one major thread for Star Wars news right? You have been here long enough, but you seem to still not understand how this place works.

What is it exactly that I'm doing that's causing you so much offense? Besides the need to have an antagonist in the thread? I really don't see a need to justify my actions or views to you as they are inline with the forum rules and I simply made a comment that other websites (while more extreme) are doing a better job of covering the news than this thread is- plain and simple.

The way I look at it is like if MSNBC was criticizing some of the more extreme statements made my FOX News, while FOX was doing a better job providing actual news itself. You'd put up with some of the radical statements you disagree with in order to be more informed than you would be otherwise, and NBC would look a bit hypocritical.

It's not a popular opinion no, but again I'm not breaking any forum rules and I'm not going to continue this conversation further.

What you seem to fail to realize is those places are considered the home for the worst of the Star Wars fandom. Massive amounts of OTT posters, who react like Star Wars or other posters killed their dog every time someone disagrees with them. There are a very small amount of good posters, but they are far outweighed by the ridiculous lot, who run off good source after good source with their hostile posting habits. That you find them a more "attractive" crowd, tells us all we need to know really. I don't think anyone would be heartbroken if you decided to go there and express your opinions on Star Wars as opposed to here.

On the rules. Just simply use spoiler tags and the black bars. It is about courtesy, especially when there is major news, such as trailers. People come here to talk about that stuff, and thus there is no reason to not use the safe guards to help out other posters. It is those that don't that make it hard for those who do not want to be spoiled to come here and discuss. I know it can be hard and I have slipped up in the past. But it a damn sight better, then going "blank it, it is in the thread title".

By the way, I will take Magnar over all those other places when it comes to news. No one collects it like Magnar, not even the excellent MSW. He is like a gift from the Force.

Sorry. :(

A notice to everyone.....do not insult people or call them names because they don't share your opinion..... also, do not insult people or call them names just because they can't control their sweat glands either. Post civilly....or go post where uncivil rude behavior is allowed.

Please, don't send me back to TFN. I promise to improve.

I cannot wait for these books to come out. They have 32 years to cover. :)

I'm really excited for that book. It will be interesting to see the events unfold after Jedi.
