Remember last week when Lucasfilm released the original Star Wars trailer.....they just released Empire Strikes Back

They're leading us to something, me thinks.

I think it's a countdown. Either they will just do the OT (hopefully for the sake that we get news quicker) or if they do all 6 we have 5 weeks and we may get that rumored Luke Announcement Trailer. Finally at least something to kinda talk about!

Someone also mentoined if they just do the OT. The week after ROTJ is October 30th exactly. So we may be getting something!

I think if they were going to show all six, they would have done so in chronological order, starting with episode 1. The movies come after the OT, i think they're only gonna show the OT trailers, leading up to something big about episode 7. If i was a betting woman, i would say we're definitely getting something on October 30th, which is exactly the day the Disney sale was announced a year ago (if i remember correctly). The Force is strong with this day, folks

But ya it was when Ali made that announcement last week and then they put up the teaser. We kinda wondered if they would do something. But lets cross our fingers and hope we get something. It lands perfectly on October 30th.

What can be reasonably expected of a potential teaser? No filming has been done.

I'm guessing the 30th will bring an announcement for the movie's title and principal cast rather than an actual teaser. I don't think there's anything to tease yet.

Well like T2 and Alien 3 they had teasers even before shooting began. If they do this route, they will do it like they also did ST09 where it was just the Enterprise being built.

But most figure going off of Ali's tweet, that it's a Luke Announcement trailer. It would not take much to put robes on him, have him in a dark room, and have some kind of voice over by him, and then have him igniting his lightsaber, then title logo/date.

That of course is if we get that. But I could see them just doing a quick teaser for that alone.
