Just realized something,

TPM was released 16 years after ROTJ

Star Wars Episode VII will be released 16 years after TPM.
Very interesting.

Today marked the moment Star Wars became an ongoing Bond like film franchise.

As more of a classic trilogy fan, this is right up my alley. I'd like to see Luke most of all. I don't think other characters like Han, if Harrison is up for it, would be detrimental to the movie. Even a cameo would do. The fans would go nuts. There'd still be plenty of room for the new breed of Star Wars characters to breathe.

I get Luke as a Force Ghost, I'm set. Can't care less if nobody else shows up.

It wouldn't bother me if we had returning actors or not, as long as the story is good.

I'm cool with a new cast, it's necessary. But I'd see returning cast members as a nice bonus.

Am I the only one who finally wants to see Sam Witwer as Starkiller in a Movie?

Wish I could see it at work. What is it?

It's the Cinematic Scenes for Star Wars Old Republic Game that deals with the Sith Army going up against the Jedi Army.

Hell, what I'd do to see two jedi's going up against two dark jedis or sith at the same time in the same place.

Oh, yeah, wasn't there supposed to be a TV series? Whatever happened to that?

Ah, then I've seen it. And it looks amazing indeed. An army vs army lightsaber battle is long overdue. LONG.

Too expensive. Lucas wanted every episode to look like a prequel flick. It's not cancelled, but it's not happening yet.

Indeed, the most important part of all.

If they're doing original stories, I can still see EU aspects being woven in, just not being wholly dedicated.

Loooong!!!!!

It's already been confirmed it's not an adaptation of anything(s), so at most we'll get a couple EU characters in it.

I'm not exactly sure how, but I'd love for Thrawn to some how be incorporated.

I'm happy they're going the original story route. The content in the films themselves should always be the real guide.

Asm uch as I want something completely new, it saddens me that'll mean no awesome characters like him. Or perhaps MJ. On the other hand, they may decide to piss on the existing post_RotJ EU and just take any character they want and do stuff with them. Lots of books going down the toilet, but more room for my porn.:awesome:

It's from THR, so it has some credibility. Plus they say it's only an option, one I hope they don't take.
