Saw the pilot on friday; I was pleasantly impressed. I thought this show might wind up being another bust like a majority of CN's lineup, but this was pretty good. I'll be sticking around for a while.

Plus, the show's got Jon DiMaggio and JK Simmons; how can you not like this? :o

My kids and I really liked the premiere. The animation and action sequences are very nice and the premise for the show is intriguing also.

We'll definitely be watching this show.

It was aesthetically cool looking, had that Sat. morning feel to it.

I enjoyed it. I hope they explain a little more about what happened to humanity as the show progresses, but overall it was enjoyable. I love the stuff these guys put out. It's the same team that originally developed Ben 10. Has that same kind of feel to it too. Who knows, maybe we'll see a Ben 10 and Generator Rex crossover.

i dont think they have the same continuity

You could have the nanite event happen slightly in the future in Ben 10 Ultimate Aliens. Maybe even make Ben be responsible for it which would be in line with Ben's character given how a lot of his actions have unforeseen consequences.

So one of the Joe's...Casey or Kelly...(can't remember which one) mentioned this cartoon was based loosely on a comic they did years ago called M. Rex. I have the first couple issues of that book but haven't read them since they first came out (has to be like a decade ago).

Anywho, it's a decent show so far.

very interesting

The last episode was great.

I was wondering how Rex's powers work. Here is what I know:
1. Rex has nanites in his body and he can control them.
2. Rex can absorb nanites from other people within whom the nanites are activated and are out of control.
3. The absorbed nanites can be unloaded and deactivated into a holding containers.
4. He can hear and talk to the nanites.

What I don't understand:
How does Rex create the gadgets? How do the nanites in his body create the items (sword, gun, big boots, etc.)? Where does all that metal come from? When Rex changes back the metal seems to get absorbed back into his body.

If it is the nanites that are joining together to form the metal then doesn't he lose nanites when he loses the items he makes?
