Gerald Butler should be Hercules

Anyone agree? After seeing 300 for a bunch of times, I'm really feelin up to the idea

haha that would be his second time being greek with a scottish accent. but honestly butler gets tossed around so much since 300, everyone thinks he should play whoever. the thing is his 300 performance wasnt even a tough one to pull off, i mean any one of the main actors in that movie could have played the part

I dissagree. He had alot of charisma and strong presence which not necessarily anyone may have.

Gerald Butler would make an excellent Hercules, but a Hercules movie, whether it be Marvel-related or Mythology-related, it is not the right time now. We've already had countless Hercules, Dracula and Tarzan movies. What purpose would another one be?

Furthermore, eventhough Hercules is part of The Avengers, it's just best that he be left out of the Avengers movies, because it would be ridiculous to include him. Look at him! He just doesn't fit, especially with all the countless Avengers characters that can be in an Avengers movie. He's just too dated.

He could be a good Kraven, if they just make sure to get the character right.
Make him Russian, with a thick accent (not like Spider-Man 2's Ock who should have been German)
and make him like a Batman type, doesn't need powers to tangle with Spider-Man. Just his skills and his wits.
But that would be more of the script.

He would also be a great Herculese. He was great in 300, he could be great in a variety of comic books things probably.
