Yes, a spoof of old monster movies.
pretty soon we will have spoof of spoof movies...
unless its been done already
you mean like young frankenstein???? yeah its kinda been done, but hey whatever floats their boats.....
Christ, when will it stop?!
...although, I have a slight bit of interest in that superhero spoof film. Thankfully, none of these spoofs have received my money. I'll stick with my Hot Shots, thanks.
is it the writer of epic/date movie and the rest? If not, then there's hope.
I think Van Helsing itself was a spoof of horror movies.
This is basically a spoof of Van Helsing.
As a big fan of classic horror films, I'd be right on board if he had someone talented behind the project, but once I hear it's from the Producer of the Scary movies, I'll make sure I stay far away from this.
I can see it now, "Written and directed by one of the 25 producers of Scary Movie comes Stan Helsing!"
It'll never be as good as
I think we're having a cycle of spoof films right now. To some extent we're still having the cycle of comic book films, a cycle of romantic comedies, a cycle of war historical films, and fantasy type films. I never thought we'd really have an spoof franchise that comes out every year or so.
Although I do believe Superhero Movie has potential. But we'll never see great spoof films like Airplane, Spaceballs, Hot Shots, Naked Gun, or Blazing Saddle again because those were intelligent spoofs and were actually funny.
Scary Movie 1 is, in my opinion, the best spoof film of the 2000's really.
I can't wait.
I think this could be good it certainly has a pretty good premise.
Or Young Frankenstein!
Van Helsing was already a spoof. How can you spoof it?
Someone needs to just make "Movie Movie" and get it over with.
Why make a spoof of a already horrible film?
I cannot believe this is actually happening. When will studios stop financing this crap!???
For better or for worse: Six Clips From ‘Stan Helsing’
Shaun of the Dead > Scary Movie 1
I watched 20 minutes of this and just turned it off.
For those who feel the remakes ruined the characters who are being mocked in this film, the only thing you need to do is just watch this movie, or atleast the first 20 minutes if you can.
On the plus side, those two a**holes who did all those Disaster/Epic/Date movie crapfests have nothing to do with this. But, they might as well have been responsible for it, from what I've seen. If you wanna see a decent spoof of old monster movies, and can't, for some reason, track down Young Frankenstein, I recommend a picture called "Transylvania 6-5000" from 1985 with Jeff Goldblum and Ed Begley Jr. It's not the funniest monster film there is, but it's definitely worth a lookie-loo. After all, It's got early Geena Davis cleavage, nuff said.
-so sayeth the mastermind-
This was an amazingly bad movie. Makes Disaster/Epic/Date movie seem good (well almost).
Its not really about movie monsters from what I seen. But more mainly about 80's Slasher films.
And, um, Superman for some reason.
The reaction of the crowd during "Ring of Fire" in the clip is what I imagine the reaction to be like from people watching the movie.
I actually got your reason for that one. They were on their way to a Halloween party and he was in a costume. From what little I had seen.
There are only two reasons to see this, and they both belong to Diora Baird.
