Getting into the Avengers comics

Im now starting to get into the Avengers comics but i dont know a whole lot on them so maybe you guys could help me?

What are some good Avengers stories to read?

Im looking for issues with the Avengers going up against Loki, Thanos, Kang, Skrulls and Kree what issues would i look for?


Newbie to Avengers so any help would be great!

Loki: Avengers #1 (it's getting reprinted soon, or you could get Essential Avengers or Marvel Masterworks: Avengers)

Thanos: The Infinity Gauntlet (that's basically Thanos vs. everyone, but practically everyone is an Avenger at this point, so it works)

Kang: Avengers Forever

Skrulls and Kree: The Kree/Skrull War

Kang Dynasty. Ultron Unlimited.

Yeah just read the Busiek stuff for now, it's the best stuff IMO.
