My face hurts. I'm hungry. I can't eat because my face hurts.

Pity me.

I got my wisdom teeth out about a year and a half ago. A day or two afterwards, and I was fine and could eat whatever I wanted.

My face swelled up to disgusting proportions. It was a blast.

I'm 28 and i never got my wisdom teeth out. It kinda annoying sometimes cuz i keep biting the back part of my mouth.

I understand, I've had them out as well....

BUT, JUST WATCH THE PORN.......DON'T HAVE A BEER.

I can assure you, you DO NOT want a "dry socket" they hurt like hell.

Try some mashed potatos, don't chew.

I got mine out a few months ago. I feel your pain :csad:

I wanted to eat a hamburger so bad when I got mine pulled out... but I could barely open my mouth. Fun times.

I'm 26 and got them out today. I was doing the same thing but they started getting bad and I read that bad dental care can lead to death or at least diabetis and that is on both sides of my family so I have to do something.

I just had some soup.

The crappiest part is I should have gotten this done I. High school so my parents would have paid for it. Learn from me young ones!!!

It really is the worst.

But, OMG when they put the novocaine pack in, it was heaven. It was immediate relief.....but I almost pulled my head off before I got to the dentist office...lol

Don't eat Lo Mein. I did and the stitches to one of them broke and the spot wouldn't heal so I had to have cotton with some stuff drenched all over it stuffed into the cavity for a few weeks, getting it replaced every so often, to get it to heal properly.

The taste that came out of the open cavity is the most disgusting thing I have ever tasted.

novocaine.

Vicoden. But I didn't get the perscription. I'm not into pills.

SuBe you might want to go ahead and get them....its not that big of a deal.....and it will help......

You might want to try Tylenol Arthritis, it has the highest over the counter pain reliever.....that might be enough for ya.

They gave me percocet.

Guess what I didn't know... I'm allergic to percocet.

YAY!

Oral surgery AND I was throwing up all night long.

Fun times I tellya.

Can someone explain to me what the process is? I got some coming out myself. Is it mandatory for everyone to get them removed or what? When do you not have to go through with it... I am scared because my dentist scares the **** out of me. I heard my dad yelling and screaming in there one time when he had a problem with one of his tooth...

It's not mandatory, IF your mouth is large enough to handle them. I had a tooth pulled when I was younger so they left one of my wisdom teeth in. The problem is they can become impacted....and that can cause inflammation, and a host of other things like infection etc.. Teeth are crazy things, and they can kill ya. If your wisdom teeth are swelling, you need to get them checked...

Only x-rays can tell if they need to come out, and when....
