Just read that Ghost Hunters Season 3 starts June 6. Little over a month away, not too shabby. This show is my kind of eerie.

The show has it's high points, but some of it is just a stupid soap oprea. If one of the crew screws something up Jason or Grant gives them a 5 minute speech on what they did wrong.

I like it, but I do get annoyed by how they cut to commercials. The first few times I watched it. They would cut away as soon as someone screamed, & said "whats that". Never...NEVER! Has it been anything. It has always been a shadow, or a spider.

I like the show very much. I've always been into ghost investigations and have even went on a few them with some local paranormal experts a couple of years ago. I love it when they'll speak about the ghostly phenomenon's on an intelligent, mature, realistic, and unique level when they explain it to the person experiencing the poltergeists or speak about it in general.

It's when they start acting like total goofs, morons, and little children that I get turned off to the show.

Other than that it's a very cool unique show with a different take on ghosts.

LMAO, I felt the same way, I was like "Stop teasing me with false promises!!"

The lighthouse episode was the creepiest, that and the irish castle.

They do that in the previews for the next weeks episode too.

The Hotel where Stephen King wrote the shining was also interesting. It didn't really have anything cool. It was just cool to see where a classic was written, & some of the stories behind the book.

Yep. Stuff like that can kill some of the momentum of a show for me.

The Irish castle was kind of weak thanks to that guide that tagged along. He made things seem scarier than they really were. I remember when he was telling one of the members to hurry and close the door because some ghost was waking up and getting ready to attack.

The settings are definitely one of the coolest things about the show. Almost reminds me of Scooby Doo the places they go. I also like the Steven King/Shining one a lot.

I think this show is great!

Unlike all the other ghost investigation shows...(where NOTHING ever happens and the people spend the whole time jumping at every little sound and then declare that, without any proof whatsoever, the noise was ghostly...sorry, but all the other ghost shows are crap...) this show actually has something!

Instead of walking in to a place and declaring it haunted at the first unusual event or sound, these guys go out of their way to try to find non-paranormal explainations for the things that happen. They try to look at it from every angle, and deliberatly look for things to debunk the ghost-theory.

In addition to that, they actually get some solid stuff on video tape and audio!

They've caught ghosts and ghostly sounds on tape that they couldn't give a non-paranormal explaination for no matter what.

They take the whole thing far more seriously than all the other shows do, they actually aim to get the truth and proof.

That's why I love it so much, it's the REAL deal. Not a load of crap to kill a half hour of tv time like all the others shows are.

As much as I love the show, I've been disappointed with 90 percent of their encounters. I've seen a few episodes that have been worthwhile, but nothing spectular to the most part.

Yeah, honestly, in the twelve years I've been reaching the paranormal. They should have seen more than they have. Given the odds of showing it on camera are pretty low. The locations they go to, to the most part are high paranormal activity locations with the exception of a few small houses, that are questionable to say the least.

Well you seem to come at this from much more a position of experience than me. I just find the show entertaining and appreciate their methodology and their-down-to-Earth style.

Actually just read a good interview with Jason and Grant...these were not the kind of regular guys I was expecting when I first watched the show:

So have they ever actually found anything that could be supernatural? I want to watch something like this but usually t here is never anything worth seeing, and nothing is ever usually found...

The nearest thing that they have on record was at the Texas theater with the fully formed appriation of a woman, who everyone in the group experienced.

Yeah but they're using good science, not forcing things for attention.

Premiere is tonight at 9.

IMO this was their best moment to date ...

^^I remember that. I still think that this is the best moments.

I remember that as well. Very creepy situation and for those who haven't seen this moment, watch for the ghost to acknowledge their presence by giving them a nod.

That was a good episode. I also like the stuff from the Eastern State Penitentiary. I love when they get some good video and always love EVPs.

The latest episode had some goodies in it.

-The one dot that was following the other 3 TAPS members before splitting into 3 dots then disappearing.

-The face that looked like one of those Kryptonian elders from Superman 2. "Guilty" :o

-And in the London tavern. The freaky ghost answering back to the questions. o_O

Good stuff I tells ya'.

Just watched episode 2 on DVR and enjoyed it. The trip to Britain was definitely worth it. And Grant is becoming my favorite TAPS guy I think.
