Ghost Rider 2 In The Works - Part 1

from what i can remember yes...it moved much more violently than the old fire effects from the last film. besides this was only a trailer that we saw...they have until next year to get everything just right.

I'm glad to hear that, because the flames looked a little small in the Empire magazine pic imo. Oh and what do you mean by the flame moving more violently than in the last film?

the effects that i saw had me relieved that they are going in the right direction for GR's look. now as far as the story, acting, action goes that remains to be seen. still concerned about the fight scenes as described from the new script..all sound very toned down because of the budget. we will see though...

From what you described to me the action sounded pretty impressive, like yanking back a car with his chain, the bullet spit, throwing someone in the air with his chain etc.

It's being directed by Neveldine/Taylor and action films with modest is their specialty, so I'm sure they're gonna improve on the action from the script (hopefully the Blackout fight).

.

i remember the fire effects moving rather slow and being rather "fluid like" in motion. it really didnt behave like real fire to me. It was an issue that the cgi team were trying to deal with at the last moment before the film was released and why the budget didnt allow for a lot of action scenes/longer fights.
the flames in the trailer were more "violent" or more agitated like how a real explosive fire would act. i remember the black smoke too...as if GR was actually burning

I think they should delay the film till March. I mean the new Spider-Man already has a full trailer but isn't coming out for more than 10 months. They should do the same for GR to build more hype.

Release a teaser this month, a full trailer 3 months from now and a 2nd full trailer a couple of months before the movie comes out.

Better quality pictures from front page.

The smoke trail looks wicked. Still think GR looks a bit too puffy, but I can't wait for a trailer.

CRANK dudes + Nic Cage + Sexy Elba = money.

Looks like maybe he's that priest from Road to Damnation. Thats what this movie is looking like so far

I confess I enjoyed the first one, goofy as it got at times. So I want to see what they plan on doing here.

I like that Ghost Rider is appearing in daylight in this movie.

How can he be in the daylight? (I haven't read most of his books).

Also, the fire looks much better than the scans in terms of color.

In the first movie he could only be Ghost Rider during the night.

In the books if Vengeance needs to be severed he is transformed day or night.Glad they got rid of the only night rule.

Is Eva Mendes sighned up for this, 'cause I'd pay the $12.50 JUST TO SEE HER!

I know that Big Gun said the skull flames were bigger in the trailer, but those small flames on GR in this picture really irks me (the 1st films flames were the perfect size).

Overall the design is pretty awesome, I'd make GR's skull a little lighter though.

It's not a big action film though. It's pretty cheap.

Yep, but some of the cheaper action films actually have more action that films with higher budgets.

It just depends on the director's ability to make due with what he has really.

Can someone post all the pics here with download links, please? I can't right-click on my pc. Thanks
