Howdy,

Me and Flamehead have been working together to make a 3D Ghost Rider fan series. The series is currently comprising of 15 episodes and approximatly 20 minutes each. Flamehead and I are both working out the plot for the series, while i am working on the 3d animation.

However, currently working on other things aswell, i realise that i can not work on the 3d animation by myself and i am appealing to any talented 3d modeler's that can help out to PM me

CGI tests for Ghost Rider i made:

Looks awesome so far! If you need help with plot, I can help if you need to. Good luck! :word:

That looks awesome. I can't wait to see the finished series. I've dabbled in 3d before but I'm no good. Wish I could help. now if you asked for plot help I got time between projects.

thats dedication for ya!

good luck The Ones...it will be fun to see what you and FH come up with.

Plot help we'll likely need as well at some point. Feedback on the plot we come up with at the very least. I've taken a huge interest into this and can't seem to get ideas for the first season out quick enough.

We'll keep you posted!!

Good luck, chaps. That's no small feat.

I look forward to seeing the results. If I can help you in any way, I'll definitely shout.

:wow:

Hey everyone.

Thanks for all the kind words and encouragment. Any help on this series would be greatly appreciated, but the main area that is difficult so far is the 3d modelling and animation. Ghost Rider's fire simulation is almost complete though, so thats a bit of positive attitude.

Again, thank's

What program did you used?
Did you try to base the skull on the Saltares canonical proportions?

I used 3DS max to create the Skull and the Fire simulation.

I based the Skull on my head. Not sure why

How is it to use 3DS Max? Is there a way to work with the model as if it's pliable like clay or it is all numbers and such?

Depends what ur using it for.

If its to create the model you can create segments of the object you what my moulding shapes (like clay) using a nurbs or an editable mesh. If its to program movement or direction or splines (backbones of particle/movement animation) Then some maxscript is involved to get that working.

Its hard to believe when i opened up the program in 2003 at first i had no clue what to do. But over time after playing around i taught myself how to use it.

How much does it usually go for? I've been wanting to experiment with 3D works, and the idea of working with an editable mesh insterests me.

Wow,I'm impressed with what you have so far. :yay:
I'm useless. :csad: *sits in corner*

That is impressive. You could get a job in the games industry or something with 3D Studio Max skills.

:wow:

Holy Crap!

This is amazing...good job Ones and FH! I can't wait to see the finished product...and yeah, I can definately help you guys with plot but not 3d...maybe someday...

You could spend $15 on a 3D World or Digit magazine that comes with free full 3d programes. There not the new versions though there one behind.

why Haven't I seen this before!?! Dudes this is cool, what program are you using, right now I'm building a 3d Asgard with Google Sketch up.
