Two superhero movies directed by MSJ. Both were terrible in theaters but at least one of them had a rather decent Director's Cut (DD) so including that one wouldn't be really fair to the other.

I was just wondering, which one is more watchable?

Personally I'd go with DD because even the theatrical cut of it was rather entertaining due to outlandish acting of Colin Farrel as Bullseye along with some rather fun fight scenes (Excluding the WTF fight street fight between Ben and Jen).

I give it to DareDevil, if Ghost Rider's actions scenes were better it would be much harder to decide.

Strictly speaking TC's, then Ghost Rider is more watchable for me, visually it is superb, DC's, Daredevil takes it easily.

Daredevil's theatrical cut added a lot of story to the movie. The GR Director's cut wasn't that good at all...with a movie that sorely needed more action, it didn't add a thing.

The supposed extended cut for GR is ******** and I wish I bought the TC instead. That said, I'd rather watch the GR TC than the Daredevil one. It's just so... lacking.

I bought the TC and the Director's Cut. I took the director's cut box and put the TC in it, and gave the the DC to a friend.

Ghost Rider makes Daredevil look like Oscar material.

Daredevil's DC is highly underrated overall. It really deserved a sequel. It wasn't a bad first film by any stretch. I also was very pleased with Affleck's Murdock. He didn't do a great job in that movie, but he also didn't do a bad job. The character itself is actually very nuanced in the director's cut. I like how they constantly have DareDevil questioning himself throughout the film. The exchanges with the Priest, "this one's for you Dad", and the whole "I'm not the bad guy" scene were really, really great. It was nice to see someone kind of explore the downsides of being a vigilante. Before Nolan took over Batman I felt DareDevil was the only film that explored this properly. It had a great origin sequence too, but I could've done without the voice over. I also think they did an excellent job balancing the light and dark elements. DareDevil just really needed some tweaking in the delivery, and a better Elektra. There's a subtle brilliance to the concept, story and script though.

Daredevil, I still don't think its as bad as people say its not perfect by any means but its not terrible. Ghost Rider's even watchable I think just neither would be considered good. I actually thought this was gonna be a film idea Ghost Rider vs Daredevil. Which I actually think could work.

Both movies weren't bad. They both had a good beginning, it just went downhill towards the end.

But I think Daredevil is better because it was less cheesey.

Dare Devil wins because Ghost Rider had no redeeming qualities. Dare Devil still isn't a good film.

I'd go with Daredevil because it's director cut actually brought more to the film.

I don't really consider one more watchable than the other because it's an extended cut (I enjoy watching both)....but the DD extended cut brought more to the story and actually greatly improved the original movie.

Both sucked, but Daredevil was more watchable for me. And as others have mentioned Daredevil's DC is actually pretty good.

I did not hate either movie, although I thought Ghost Rider was better. Just personal preference. I will say it is a great time to be a comic book movie fan! It's just awesome we have four comic book movies coming out this summer.

Is the Ghost Rider extended cut any better than the original?

Not really. Added nothing to the film. Stick with the theatrical cut.
