Ghost Rider Vs. Hulk

Hey lads of the GR community.

I am involved in annoying the Green Fans and wondered if somebody could confirm all the times GR has faced off against the hulk with a brief summary.

I have my comics in the Garage but it is pouring out so I don't want to get soaked - anybody have the Canon facts of their face-offs? Thanks Lads!

Hulk and Ghost Rider really haven't faced off that many times. Blaze beat Banner back in GHOST RIDER # 11 by burning away the oxygen around his head, making him pass out.

Vengeance later faced down the "Professor" version of the Hulk in GHOST RIDER # 49 and pretty much got owned - though the Hulk did get a nice kick in the crotch from Big V.

Also - in the recent Giant Size Hulk (that republished Hulk: The End and featured a small Planet Hulk story) there was a Hulk vs. Champions tale that had Ghost Rider in it.

There was also Ghost Rider's run in with the Hulk on the Hulk Animated TV show a while back. I can't remember correctly, but I believe Ghost Rider was fighting Hulk in that one too.

Also in Marvel Spotlight #10 and #11 Ghost Rider and Hulk duke it out, unfortunately I don't have any details of the fight.

Or could it be they haven't fought before considering the Rider's popularity as a character is weak at best. He just isn't popular enough that writers have brought him in enough to fight Jade Jaw. His titles always come and go. I love the Rider as much as the next guy, but I'll be the first to say it. He is a C lister. Easy. That's why I have no scans of him and the rider going at it.


It's like saying "Hey how come you haven't posted a fight between the HULK and Solo?! Is it because Solo would win!?" No, it's because no one really follows the character. And yes, he had his own comic.
WOW -- this is how some people view GR. It was quite something. Anyhow. Just wanted to share that with you GR fans.

Heh, there's one thing that NO comic reader can deny, despite how much they may dislike the character: Ghost Rider has THE BEST character design of all time. Eat that, Jolly Green Giant!

Hey Lads. Got Ghost Rider Essentials for Christmas.

Catching up on the Johnny B. stories is pretty neat. I have to get my Ketch stuff out to read before the movie.
