Apparantly so, if this interview is correct. That could be very cool if they choose to do it, but I wonder if they'll use the "Real" designs or their live action counterparts.

Bill Murray is on board for this also and possibly a c.g.i. John Belushi.

^LOL @ one of the Ghostbusters actually being a ghost.

Well if Murray is willing to do the voice for it, i suppose its better than nothing....

Holy sh1t am I dreaming?

This and Joss being ousted from Wonder Woman in the same day. Someone is liking me.:cwink:
Yeah that too  Joss doesnt need to be working on WW he needs to have some damn conclusion to the Angelverse.

i say, Live action, or not at all....i dont want a CGI regardless who is voicing it.

Anything Ghostbsters is awasome. "Sometimes sh1t happens and who ya gonna call?"

If you think about it having it CGI with the whole cast is the best way to go

1 You have the whole cast from 1984
2 Cost will be cheaper (actors/locations/real world CGI landscapes would cost millions)
3 The story that they wrote for Hell can be pulled off as intended with no cutbacks due to budget
4 They can look as young or as old as they like.
5 We dont have to have Ben Stiller running around ****ing things up :)

In a perfect world i would love a new live action film, but hey what ya gonna do

It is the best way to go. If only Pixar werent with Disney.

Oh man. This is the setup for the biggest movie disappointment of my life... because damn, this has me excited. :D

i agree but if only you had ended with "Who you gonna call ?":woot:

I'm also thinking it will disappoint. Unless we can't tell it's c.g.i.

I think we are about to enter the Twilight Zone.

The question is, will Columbia, who owns them, foot the bill for this type of CGI?

Do consider how nicely an idea this is. They obviously all are too old and fat to do a live version but a voice is more doible. Look at Shrek. A CGI ghostbusters could be good and make the doe but they should get the cast as the voices. Including Sigourny and the women who played Janine.

Annie Potts was Janine.

As for being 'too fat,' Bill Murray was kind of buff in 'The Life Acquatic with Steve Zissou.'

Okay, not 'buff' but not 'fat' either.

Shrek is a great example. So what rating should this get. I would go for a heavy PG rating.

For a man his age he was in pretty good shape in that movie.
