A la, the rooftop scene in Begins.

Personally, I'd love for them to pay homage to the Long Halloween, and have the camera fade out from black and go to Commissioner Gordon at his desk looking dead tired, with Bruce's voice narrating "I Believe in Jim Gordon". Fade out to black, fade into Harvey propped up in his hospital bed, Gilda at his side, rain pouring outside, lightning crackling, "I Believe in Harvey Dent". Then cut to Batman on a rooftop, and have him look up to see the Bat signal "I Believe in Gotham city", Batman takes his grappling gun out, shoots out to a building, and pulls himself to a building.

Screen immediately cuts to

THE DARK KNIGHT

Yeah, what would you guys like to see?

I've heard some pretty interesting things similar to the unveiling of the Joker card.

One guy mentioned the Riddler being introduced at the end, I think someone said something about Selina Kyle...

Who's One Guy and who's Someone? Sounds like a detective mystery is about to unfold...

There was this idea I heard a while back, and it involved Batman in the Batcave overlooking Harvey's accident and Dent's escape from the hospital, and then he hears a voice in the darkness of the cave, and then Ra's emerges from the darkness, and FADE OUT. I forget the exacted wording of the idea, but I *think* it involved Ra's offering Batman help in finding Dent.

I don't know. I think it would be cool.

way too pirates2 uip there^^^

mine: at wayne manor, bruce and alfred are preparing for a guest. they talk about whatever lessons bruce has learned and moving on n how alfred thinks its good that hes having a life outside of alfred. a beep-the intercome "hey its selina, imat the gate". alfre dlets he rin whjen the batsignal shines through the window, reflecting in the clouds. bruce and alfred exchange looks, and bruce says "tell her i might be a little late"-alfred smiles, and sighs, defeated.

panning through gotham-a figure inblack runs overroftops, we get to him, and follow him as he plunges down into an alley, dissappearing into the darkness-

THE END,.

The last scene should feature Selina giving Bruce a happy ending.

Ending 1: Harvey in the hospital with bandages as the doctor is about to take them off.

Ending 2: Bruce meets Selina at a Gotham celebration

Ending 3: Joker in Arkham looking into the camera then fade to black laughing in the background...

Credits Roll

I hated the ending of batman begins. We saw that in daredevil already... Did no one notice that but me?

Well the first thought in my mind is for it to end on his parent's grave stones where he lays down some roses, and between them appears the bat signal. It'll be poetic.

One of the last scenes must be Joker in Arkham in a straight jacket laughing.

I think a narrative at the end like the OP said would be really cool. Bruce narrates about Gotham City and his parents and Harvey and whatever. Here's my thoughts, very similar to the OP with a few additions.

Bruce: Through all of this....**Pan through the streets of Gotham**

Bruce: This madness...**Shot of Joker lying on his Arkham bed, gently laughing to himself**

Bruce: This chaotic journey...**Pan across Gotham nighttime skyline**

Bruce: I remember my parents...**Bruce kneeling at their grave**

Bruce: Their fight for this city...**Pan through the streets again**

Bruce: They believed...**Shot of Bruce holding a picture frame of his parents**

Bruce: Now its my turn...**Bruce stands up at the grave**

Bruce: I believe in Jim Gordon...**Shot of Gordon looking flustered**

Bruce: I believe in Harvey Dent...**Shot of empty hospital bed with bandages on it**

Bruce: I believe....**Pan up to a rooftop with Batman overlooking Gotham at night, he then shoots his grapple gun**

Bruce: I believe in Gotham City. **Batman soars off into the Gotham City skyline. His figure then becomes out of focus. A hand becomes in focus, it is clearly on the rooftop. The hand flips a coin. Cut to black.**

I really like your ideas, Meatbag. I'd like to expand on the Harvey scene a little, because I feel it's a very, very important scene. And if done right, it could be a defining moment in superhero film history:

The scene starts in a hallway of a hospital wing; it is late at night and quite dark. At the end of the hall we can see a window; it's raining; a short flash of light brightens the hallway as a small bolt of lightning strikes, the bright blue-white light reflecting off the white walls and floors. The faint sound of thunder can be heard echoing in the background.

The camera pans left, looking through the open door of a ward. Inside the dark room we see the bandaged Harvey in a bed, unconscious. Gilda is sitting in a chair placed closely to the bed; she is sleeping, her arms folded over her husband, and her head resting on his abdomen. A second strike occurs, filling the ward with light. The thunder is louder this time.

The next shot is a top-down view of Harvey in bed. The shot zooms in slowly, stopping when only his face fills the scene. One side shows the face of a handsome man; the other dressed in white bandages, with the smallest area of flesh uncovered; a red, scarred eyelid. Then we hear the voice-over:

"I believe in Harvey Dent."

CRACK! A bright flash illuminates the scene, with a massive roar of thunder bellowing throughout. At the very moment that strike occurs, the scarred eyelid snaps open, revealing a yellow, bloodshot eye, seething with intense rage.

Cut to black.

There are a few ways to do the hospital scene, but I think that one is one of the best. I hope it sounds as good as it looks in my mind's eye. :D

The entire movie should come full-circle like Long Halloween. These types of endings are the most powerful for me, IMO.

It should start out suddenly. No fades--just appearing suddenly after the WB/DC logos.

Bruce Wayne (at a campaign rally): I believe in Harvey Dent.

Then at the end of the movie the Joker is in Arkham, tied up in a straightjacket...

Joker: I believe in Harvey Dent, too!

last scene should follow a doctor running trough the halls of the hospital into dent's room only to find it empty with an open widow, stormy outside, with a batman voice over explaining the theme of the next one like they did in begins.

I like very much, sir.:word::heart:

I think they can do the Bruce going out on date thing before the last scene of the film.

I would rather see something like Bruce standing in front of his parents grave site on Wayne Manor grounds. The sun is setting and it is fairly windy outside. The music from the last scene with Batman and Gordon on the rooftop in BB is playing in the background. We see Alfred walk up towards Bruce, while Bruce is still staring at at his parents grave (possible flashbacks occur of when he was younger with his father) and tell him

Alfred: "Master Wayne, there was just some good news and some most disturbing news sir coming from Lt Gordon on the Television."

Bruce: (Eyes fixated on his parents grave still) "Really....and what would that be?"

Alfred: "Lt Gordon has confirmed reports that he will be running for the recently vacant Commisioner of Gotham City post sir."

Bruce: (Now looks toward Alfred with a slight grin) "Thats great news Alfred. He certainly deserves it. Now how about the MOST disturbing news?"

Alfred: "He also announced that District Attorney Dent is missing."

Bruce: "He's not at the hospital?"

Alfred: "No sir....but thats not the worst of it I'm afraid."

(Bruces' full body now turns and faces Alfred)

Alfred: "The doctor that was assigned to the district attorney....is dead."

Bruce: (Turns and looks back to his parents grave) "My god"

The camera starts to shift toward the now darkened sky while the music plays and when the music stops like it did at the end of BB when Batman flew toward the camera......the signal lights up the sky.

I would prefer to see something like that for the very last scene. :bat:

It would be awesome if they used the Long Halloween quotes in a montage to end the film! I'd like tear up if that happened...:o

Edit: Dark Knight, That sounds awesome as well!

Nice!

I really like the idea of a hand coming in front of the camera at the end and flipping a coin. Then the hand moves away and you hear Two Face walking away chuckling.

Chyeah.

Thanks...and I agree about the I believe voice overs. Maybe I should add them to the ending I would like to see with Bale voicing over.

I'd Love to see an ending similar to BEGINS, where Batman and Gorden are outside crimescene, and Gordon says something like:

Gordon: Another day, another murder in Gotham city..only this time, it's different"

Batman: "different?"

Gordon: "theres something carved in the victims back...a... a Riddle"

Batman: "I'll look into it..."

*que music, then credits.*

i think a third movie featuring the joker again, plus the riddler, would make for some interesting films, if of course, done right.
