the relationship between rogue and bobby won't just be forgotten about, its unrealistic to think otherwise

although i think if bobby and kitty are together they may have pushed it abit far and made bobby look abit of a jerk esp with the events of X3

Not forgotten, but it should be long over. I hope Bobby is with Kitty which the footage implies he might be according to one of the reports. Rogue needs to be single or she can't be more confident and changed.

I prefer to see rogue single, I believe it will allow her to become a stronger character and allowe her to have a more personal development

Plus in recent images and comic con I can see kitty and ice man working nicely so it all works out nicely

Do you prefer Bobby being together with Rogue or with Kitty?
I also think that it would be better if Rogue would be single... But i would really like to see Kitty and Bobby together... I have always liked their relationship more than the one between Bobby and Rogue.

I would happily see them together! He's a nice guy and I think him and kitty make a sweet couple! It's also the fact I don't want rogue to be all cutesy in a relationship I promote those twos relationship

I also think Rogue can be a better character being single. Even when I loved her chemistry with Wolverine her and her circumstances were always defined by other characters.

I want her to be herself and for that she needs some time alone.

Why is it automatically more realistic that they would break up, I don't understand that argument. People do stay together and they were very close in the OT (until X3 screwed it up). I don't see why it would be unrealistic for them to still be together. Realistic doesn't equal "most depressing outcome possible."

No, you're definetily right... I am sure that rogue's and bobby's relationship will be a fairly Big plot part. But i think that bobby's and rogues relationship had Lost most of it's "Magic" in X3. That is why i would really prefer a bobby kitty relationship... Because i feel like they have a better connection... But that is just my opionion...

I hope it's not a big focus. Most of the audience never cared about that relationship and after 10 years it's tedious to still have it hanging around.

They never were and never will be a great love story and we can't pretend otherwise.

This is true but i really think that there will be pretty much Focus on it. Because almost every movie needs some kind of love theme. And theirs would be the most obvious choice

Id rather bobby and kitty were not together because it makes bobby look like a jerk getting close to kitty behind rogues back in X3 and then she got the cure to be with him and then he still gets with kitty some time later

but i can see the idea here being bobby and kitty being together in DOFP and they need rogue to save kitty so bobby will have to convince rogue to help which opens the ex gf jealousy angle of why should i help you save her? with angry and bitter rogue

Yeah, you do have a Point there. But maybe they have broken up soon after the end of X3. In this case it wouldn't really make him look like a jerk. And they wouldn't have to get close behind rogues back. But you are right, i really doubt that Bryan Singer will make him look like a jerk. But i actually think the possibility of bobby and rogue still being together is very very high. Even though i hope that bobby and kitty will get closer.

So i have been reading a bit in this Forum now, and it seems like rogues role in the movie will be minimal. Do you think that bobby's role will be bigger than her's.
I actually think that we will see quite a Lot of bobby, because there have been quite a few Set photos of him released... What do you think? Correct me if a'm wrong please

It's impossible to say. There is just not enough information or evidence, to be honest. Apart from a load of guesswork based on how long some people were filming. And even that can be misleading: Ian McKellen filmed X2 for just two weeks and he features in the finished movie quite a lot.

I love to see Gambit, my favourite X-Man, but no. Don't want to see Gambit trying to get close to ... such a clumsy, charmless Rogue. Less of her - better. Even if that mans no Gambit at all.

Bobby seemed to be slightly pressurising Rogue in X2 with wanting to kiss and them "working on it" so that could happen. In X3, Rogue was getting frustrated that she couldn't do all the things normal girlfriends/boyfriends do. Bobby was getting close to kitty, and Bobby seemed to be the one pushing it. In one of the X3 deleted scenes, Bobby and Kitty actually kissed which Rogue witnessed which made her decide to take the cure. If Booby and Kitty are together then I hope Rogue does call them out on it because they started getting together whilst Bobby was in a relationship with her.

I could see Gambit being very flirty with Rogue and Bobby not liking it one bit. However Gambit could be good for Rogue's self-confidence.

I don't know if it is counted as a fact that bobby kissed kitty if it is just a deleted scene... Because there have also been alternate endings and deleted scenes in other movies that weren't actually a of the Story. I think that this scene was just something for the fans... But i don't think that it can be said that this scene actually happened.
