I was told in the past that my voice is a bit squeeky and high pitched but it has never been brought up as a concern by a potential female mate, until now. It has me completely flustered and upset, I'm wondering what I can do to fix this. I spent a few minutes speaking darker and deeper into the mirror this morning before my shave but it did not really come naturally. Should I hire a voice coach? My tongue tends to flop around wildly when I speak; perhaps that is the source of some of the high pitched noises. A good voice coach could fix this as well. I don't want to lose a good girl over something I can fix by spending some money

She's not a good girl if she is so shallow to not get to know you because of something so trivial.

We all have stuff we want to fix about ourselves man! Be confident in yourself thats all you need to be happy, and to find someone who respects you for you.

If this girl is considering dumping you because your voice is a little high...then she's not worth your time and certainly isn't as "good" as you assume.

Be yourself.

Expect A LOT of these answers.

Hold your nose when you talk, make sure all the noise is coming from your mouth instead of your nose. That's what I do when I'm singing to make sure my vocal tone isn't too nasally.
But seriously, if she can't get over that then she's not the right chick for you. If she likes a guy to be more muscular or whatever is one thing, cause that would mean she wants to make sure the guy cares about his health, but the voice is so trivial, it's stupid for her to care enough to not date you. And also, it could very well be an excuse, she might be scared of a relationship with you or anyone for that matter, for personal reasons and past history. Maybe there's something else about you, but she doesn't want to tell you. The point is, don't change yourself for someone unless they would do the same for you.

I have to know...were you doing a Batman impression?

Should I hire a voice coach?

No, you should take the advice of everyone who has commented on this. If she's not interested in you because your voice "isn't deep enough", then she's petty and shallow and not worth the bother to begin with.

Justin Timberlake has a high pitched voice and I think he is doing pretty well for himself.

Justin Timberlake has won six Grammys and four Emmys, and he's married to Jessica Biel.

For that matter, Chris Colfer's voice is high as they come, and he's a Golden Globe and Emmy winner on a popular TV show.

There is hope, young Padawan!

Don't hire a voice coach, just find a girl who's not so shallow and ridiculous.

No worry, that will be fixed after puberty <= that is a joke.
You can also chew some rocks and barbwire for breakfast like real man do.

Braincrusher is awesome. I just want to let everyone know how I feel about this.

Every once in a while something reminds me why I stay here.

And his SNL shows are fan-freakin-tastic.

Not to mention, he also had prime Britney Spears.

Oh my God...I bet she's a Tom Hiddleston fangirl. >_<

Booze and smokes.

What you must do now is talk in an even higher pitch out of spite. Whenever you are around this girl or any of her friends you must sound like Alvin and the Chipmunks. When anyone asks why you are talking like that say "What do you mean?" and pretend like you have no idea what they are talking about.

As a plus, all the girls who are fans of Justin Bieber will begin to be attracted to you.

Have your balls dropped? If they haven't, that maybe the issue. Other than that, **** that ***** and move on.

gotta put some bass in that voice, son...

Try smoking. It also adds a bit of rasp, too. :awesome:

You're voice will sound like Batman's in no time.

Tell the girl all your great stories about shark attacks and skydiving.

Reminds me of a time a woman told me "Mergon" while I was waiting in line at work one day, a weird comment out of the blue was sorta strange.
