Girl won't date me because I have electric heat

I really like this girl. She's like a 6.5 but has very large buns that may drive the score a bit higher. But it doesn't really matter because she doesn't like the way my home is heated. I had her and her friends over for beers one night and all she kept talking about was the smell from my baseboards and the way electric heat dries out her skin. I started to explain the benefits of being able to partition off rooms with electric heat, no furnace issues, etc but she wasn't hearing any of it. When I talked to her friend about whether it's a good idea to ask her to go steady she said "I wouldn't bother to be honest". I asked why and she said she has a big problem with the heating system of my home and doesn't want to set foot there again. I didn't realize this was such a big deal. I am calling some heating experts now to get a quote for a new forced air system as we speak. Could be a couple grand. What do? I like the girl but I'm not sure it's worth the expense.

No, it's not worth the expense. Either of the cost to replace the system, or the cost to your dignity, for doing something like that for someone who may not even like you that much.

Why would you want to date someone who *****es about little things like that before you've even really dated, and who won't even tell you that's a big issue herself?

And why do you have the heater on anyway? It's Summer.

If you really like her, just call her up and tell her you'll keep the heater off if she comes over, as you intend to keep her skin nice and moist and keep her warm yourself. Or you guys can hang out at her place, or somewhere else.

If she can't put up with the electrical heat so she can be with you, then it's not worth the trouble of pursuing her. There will be bigger issues in a relationship that couples have to go through, so if such a minor thing can become an obstacle, it means you guys better stay apart and look for other people instead.

Really? You aren't sure if you should spend a couple thousand dollars just to change the heating in your house because there is a girl you hardly know who refuses to come to your house because of it?

Is she the only girl in your section of the country? You say she is a 6.5......are you a 2 so you are that desperate? Do you also plan on getting a new car, new clothes, and plastic surgery to try and possibly sometime in the far off future get her to drop by your place so she can say it's painted the wrong color and so refuse to come in again?
