Ok in this thread you state a film title and then proceed to give it the Fox treatment. This means you treat the film like Fox would have done if they were responsible for it.

An example is say TDK, TDK>enters the Fox treatment Machine= Its at most an 80 minute film, Batman costume is changed, Bruce Wayne parents were drug addicts who got killed while cruising for a fix. The Bat mobile/tumbler would be CGI, Alfred would be a wise cracking black butler from the hood who picked young Bruce Wayne from the streets. The film would be rated PG, and Batman would have ot fight Robots (Got to sell those toys) not giant robots of course since its rumoured Rothman hates that idea.

Oh despite the title feel free to give books, animes, tv shows the Fox treatment say if Fox were to adapt them to the big screen.

i like this, this could be fun, give me a moment to think up something

Star Wars fox treatment: Darth Vader is shown as a whiny brat who overreacts to everything.

....oh wait, nevermind. :whatever:

Yeah, becuase that's exactly what the greatest villain in the galaxy would start out as. What else would he be? It was just Hayden's acting.

somebody do sin city. i want to but i can picture some one else doing it even better.

What if he was just a dustrubed kid who watched his mother be killed and he killed the killers (I know he did this) but not regret any of it, and not whine one bit. Just smirk. THAT'S cold. He should also have had no respect for Padme. THAT is how THE greatest villain should've been introduced. Stone cold, but shown bits of light while around Obi-Wan.

Take any movie.

Cut it down to 80 minutes.
Make it PG-13 when it should be R. (AvP, Max Payne, Die Hard 4)
Film it in Toronto.
Completely under budget it.
Fire the director (John Moore and Strause Brothers are the exception) and edit it yourself. Be sure to remove unecessary things like plot, character development and action scenes.
Get the same cheap ass cinematographer to give the movie the same cheap ass look.
Regardless of how sci-fi your film is it has to be set in present day Earth.

sure it had nothing to do with the script?

with such lines as :

"Your a slave?

anakin: "I'm a person and my name is Anakin!"

and the timeless

"YOUR NOT LIKE SAND"

i figured it had something to the with the script as well.

No, it would be the exact opposite. What Anakin was in these films. It makes the transformation more tragic and unsettling to see rather than what he will become eventually. We can't already hate Anakin by that point. We still need to like him. And to feel bad for him. Just a smirk? Apart of his fall to the dark side was the seduction of it and by Palpatine. How would that carry over into any of the third film? That wouldn't be strong enough at all for Anakin wanting to save her. He thinks about his loved ones first. He's young and confused. His rage made him want to save her but he couldn't. Which leads into the third film where Palpatine convinces him he can save people from dying. In which he doesn't want that to happen to Padme.

Those were little hints. Of course we need those. It's creepy to see a little kid say things like that. But I don't remember that sand line. That's pretty bad I will admit. Guys, even though I defend these films, it doesn't mean I can defend for everything. I do think they should of been made better. But I'm just sick of hearing the whining complaints about something that happened 10 YEARS AGO and still can't get the hell over it.

Hayden played a young Dath Maul?

:oldrazz::oldrazz::oldrazz:

lol agreed darth maul owns...

doctor jones: the delivery of im a person and my name is anakin was just awful...your not like sand was in episode 2...and hilarious...i love episode 3 though...and parts of 2...and about 1 part of one...

If you want to give a movie the Fox treatment, its actually very simple: Take a good script and wipe your ass with it. Then give the remainder of it to your director.

Obi-Wan never said he was seduced by Palpatine, he said "Vader was seduced by the Dark Side of the force". Him enjoying killing the sand people and ending up liking it would've made it much more effective.

Memento: Just rearrange the scenes in reverse so nothing whatsoever comes as a surprise.

I liked QoS. I thought it was a good follow up to CR.

Yeah, but once he becomes Vader he doesn't even seem to worry about finding the cure, just doing Palpatine's bidding and the turn totally sucked. One minute he's getting the Jedi to arrest Palpatine, the next he's Palpatine's best buddy pal.

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull: Just slap a FOX logo on it and you're done.
