Give me reasons why I should have it and not just because of a certain game.
Just gaming possibilities and why this should be best buddy for the next 4-5 years.![]()
Last time I checked, World of Warcraft was an MMORPG, not an online service.GoldenAgeHero said:world of warcraft 'nuff said.

You do realise that online gaming services are more than about simply playing a game online, don't you?GoldenAgeHero said:how would you play it then?
Fenrir said:Please, don't give slap such tedious fanboyism stickers on me. I only love companies whose games I enjoy more. Right now, Microsoft has more of those games. There are also a lot of Sony games I've been constantly interested in and been hyped about such as DMC4, FFXIII, VF5 and a couple more whose threads I regularly post in. So keeping that in mind, let this be the last time you play that "hardcore MS fanboy" card on me. We clear, chump?![]()

Oh my actual god. Are you ****ing with me?GoldenAgeHero said:but its still an online service, thats my point. your paying to play the game online. hence online service. you're saying it's not an online service, when it really is. you get added levels, potions weapons and what not.....its a freakin online service.

WhatsHisFace said:I would say I use the same definition as everyone else. An Online Service would be a fundamental base system that makes resources available such as a foundation to play games on, chat services, electronic mail between members, various file download services, online personna creation, game tracking, stat tracking, friend finders based on games and skill levels, ways for developers to support their game...
World of Warcraft, like many other online games, touches on areas of this, but is in no way a contained Online Service.
No, World of Warcraft is an MMO with MMO type functionality. It's not a goddamn online service you god damn idiot. World of Warcraft is FUNCTIONAL IN THE REALM OF WORLD OF WARCRAFT AND NOTHING ELSE.GoldenAgeHero said:world of warcraft is still an online service. no matter how you put it. you have very quasi veiw of what online service is.
