This Week On Everybody Loves Darren...

Dammit, Jerry! :cmad:

lol, being in that close proximity to Darren had him blushing and sweating like a 13 year old girl

Happens to the best of us.

I will say that Darren seems a really amiable guy, and I think the hatred some transfer to him personally because they don't like Blaine is unfair and kind of sad.

But that's Teh Interwebz for ya.

*takes serious hat off*

I'll agree with that. I don't even see the point in hating Blaine. Sure, he's become a little dull and his clothes are awful, but there's nothing hateable about him... unless it's just due to the Break-Up episode.

Most people just hate on him because he sings too much.

It's really head-scratching how far some people take it though. They hate on him like it's their job.

lol okay. I just saw the lack of a :whatever:, or :o and was like "wait, wut?"

Alas, not even Cassie July could escape the Glee Villain Insta-Redeemer forever...

How was Katey Segal? Under-used? Probably... :csad:

Okay, my thoughts:

- Overall, it was a pretty entertaining episode. I enjoyed it more than the last two. The music was fun.

- Nice to see Mercedes and Mike actually get something to do this time.

- Katey Segal made a one scene walk-on appearance. This show loves squandering people.

- Always nice to see Burt (and Glee remembered Carole exists!), and he's reliably the Voice of Reason.

- which brings me to.....oh, Blaine. In what desperate, Kurt-fevered corner of your overgelled head does proposing marriage to your ex-boyfriend who you haven't been with for most of the year sound like a good idea? Despite Blaine's protests, Burt was right that they really would be pulling a Finchel, even assuming (a huge IF) Kurt accepted it. Blaine means well, but he's not mature enough to understand the significance of what he's planning, especially considering he cheated on Kurt after a few weeks of separation (Kurt was not blameless in the situation either, but still) and has spent half the time since crushing on Sam. Actually I think Burt could have hit the point harder, that Klaine isn't even together at present. Get a freaking grip, Blaine. Proposing to your ex who you haven't been with for months is insane. Seriously. Congratulations, you have gone leaps and bounds beyond the Gap Attack fiasco for the worst idea you have ever had. And the promos show you asking Sam to be your best man, so clearly you didn't take Burt's words of wisdom to heart. Hopefully the lesbian mentors have more of an effect on you (as I think they will, since we already have spoilers he doesn't actually propose, thank God, though part of me would like to see Kurt's expression if he did).

- So the writers remembered Cassandra exists, whom I honestly thought they'd forgotten about, only to spin her through the Glee Villain Insta-Redeemer. None escape its clutches, clearly. Her number was fun though. By the way, how is her wardrobe any kind of remotely appropriate for a teacher??

- Considering they made a storyline out of putting Finn in college, it's just lazy how they can't even be bothered to toss in some throwaway line about how he's MIA because he's busy studying for a big exam or something. Also, they've completely forgotten Joe and Sugar's existences, but they'll conveniently be back just in time for Regionals.

- I smell Funny Girl and Klaine as two of the big finale cliffhangers. Possibly Regionals.

Also, they've completely forgotten Joe
lol Like you're not happy about that... :funny:

Speaking of forgetting people, lol @ Blaine's "what if he meets someone else?".

Oh gee, I dunno, like Adam?

The writers aren't even bothering to pretend he matters (or even exists anymore, apparently).

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that this series, more or less, has the continuity of a crime procedural. They pretend certain things matter one week, and the next, they've simply been forgotten and everyone has moved on.

Adam was a case-of-the-week. :o

Also, last episode they made a big ta-do out of Kitty bonding with Ryder, and now she randomly likes Artie.

It was an ok episode. It was nice that Mercedes FINALLY got a storyline and Mike was actually used. I know they don't want to bog down NY with originals but it would make total sense for Mercedes to visit there for a while if not a year or two now that her cd has fallen through. Her and Santana would make total sense as roomies trying to make it big.

I still hate it though how the writers just keep trying to make Marley/Jake NDs saving grace. How is Jake NDs new secret weapon? Did they forget that Britt is still a dancer and what about Kitty? She is on the cheerios, clearly knows how to dance and part of why they even hired Becca is because she actually knows how to dance. But I was happy that Kitty FINALLY gets a solo.

Nice to see Arties mom, sucks that like mama Lopez it was like 5 minutes of the entire episode. They like to waste quality guest stars don't they?

Klaine has just become annoying, Blaine thinks just because gays can get married now that he has to jump on the bandwagon and get hitched right away to his high school love.

While NY has been fun to watch, Rachel+NYADA has just been boring. We've spent the past 4 years watching Rachel Berry get everything handed to her on a silver platter. They finally had the chance to make her work harder to be the best by being around other Rachel Berrys and they don't even introduce other Rachel Berrys like they originally talked about. And now Cassandra pulls a total 180 and has been harder on Rachel then anyone because she believes in her and not because she found her annoying. Can you say annoying? And was that even Rachels final in that class because that was easy for her to do nothing. Which leads me to....Rachels audition is next week, her final was suppose to be next week, we still have 14 more episodes to get us to the end of May in the Gleeverse and we are already past Valentines Day so we should be in March/early April right now so why is Rachel already having a final? And did Kurt skip an entire week of classes?

Oh and it is also annoying that Joe/Sugar/Brittany/Finn have been absent since like forever and they are never even brought up as to why they aren't around. Is it really that hard for them to sit Joe/Sugar in the choir room and have them do nothing like the had Tina for 3 years? Because it is ridiculous that they magically will show up for Regionals like they never disappeared. Writers couldn't even come up with a reason why Finn would miss Burts appointment.

All in all they really need to stop cramming so many storylines into 1 episode. They have 22 episodes at 40 mins an ep to tell stories. Why they feel the need to cram so much into an episode baffles me. They shouldn't go over 2 storylines in an episode with some subtle subplots.

I forgot: for the love of god, can we please get out of that choir room/stage? Why does Mercedes phone call/Blaine+Burt have to take place there? Do these people never go home and live their lives?

I'm sure they're trying to keep costs down by limiting the sets, but they already have the Lima Bean, Blaine's home, and the Hummel home (assuming they haven't gotten rid of it by now), so that's three options instead of Burt hanging around McKinley all day.

So... The catfish.
