To be completely honest, it's hard for me to "buy" that Santana is a lesbian when she's only sexually and emotionally attracted to Brittany. We need to see her realize she's attracted to women in general and not just Brittany.

I thought that came a little out of left field too.

Just because the one person she actually loves is a woman doesn't make her a lesbian.

She was certainly possessive of Puck in Season 1, not to mention having sex with Finn. Though I think part of her pattern of stealing other people's love interests comes from being jealous of seeing people in relationships with the person they want.

Puck is the ultimate beard, in my opinion and that's all he was ever meant to be. Santana treated him like complete **** and only kept him around for sex. Which just screamed her being in denial about her lesbianism. I mean, I will fully accept she's a lesbian when/if she realizes "Oh wow, Rachel, you look rather....doing anything after school?".

I'm not saying I want Santana to realize she's a lesbian and then lock herself in the locker room with all the Cheerios after practice one day, I'm just saying if we had proof that she was attracted to women in general and only women, it'd make her lesbianism way more believable.

I can buy her having sex with Puck in denial. I remember when Brittany said "it's better with feelings" and Santana said "I think it's better when it doesn't involve eye contact". That could be an indication that she doesn't typically actually enjoy sex.

Sex with men, for sure. Because if she didn't enjoy sex, Brittany and her wouldn't have had sex...for two years straight.

I personally think Santana and Finn's (while it was written and implied they were going to date, meaning Santana was meant to be be straight) sex was Santana probably finally realizing that she's not sexually or emotionally attracted to men. Look at Sam, he was the rising star so she latched onto him to hide her lesbianism and tore him down the first chance she got.
