She's gotten more to do in the second trailer and new tv spot so what do you think?

I think that she is Glenn Close, so she will likely be good in the film.

Yeah, that about sums it up. She's a great actress so she'll kill the role. As for her in the movie, she looks intense, commanding and frankly, a little terrifying. She is not the person I would want as a boss with that look on her face. Whoa!

Excuse my ignorance... but since Glenn Close is Nova-Prime, does that mean she might show off some powers as a high ranking Nova. Would she not get involved? Or is she going to be those lead from a far kind of character? Will be interesting to see how she plays out in the film.

Seeing her in the trailer had me immediately thinking what a way they could introduce Abigail Brand and S.W.O.R.D. into the MCU. They should at least be introduced in a potential Ms. Marvel film. Perhaps a solo centric Carol Danvers film could also pave the way for introducing the Kree and the Skrulls too.

Anyway, Glenn Close is awesome in everything she does, mostly! Thought she rocked in The Shield for example. :)

They're probably trying to market the movie to a more older crowd, kind of like Robert Redford was in TWS. Far too often, these new movies coming out are so geared towards the 18 to 49's, they forget that there are a whole bunch of retired people that would like to go see a movie too. But most movies are just too campy, raunchy or crude for them, so they tend to stay away.
