God of War Live Action Movie

Well, David Jaffe has stated that there are plans for a God of War movie but I just hope that whoever makes it doesn't screw it up because I'm really looking forward to seeing how this movie will turn out. Most of all, I want to see who will be cast as the Gods (Athena better be hot) & how the Titans will look since they all will be CGI. Also, as far as Kratos goes, David Jaffe originally had Djimon Hounsou in mind for Kratos & I think that he'll do a great job as Kratos.

Of course 300 being the colossal hit that it was means it's going to inspire some imitators and movies that will try to recreate that formula.

But IMHO, 300 was lightning in a bottle, it's not something that can easily be repeated.

So many movies after GLADIATOR tried to take the same approach with the string of "epic" movies of that type we would see. But none of them really worked.

After ROGER RABBIT, all the movies that tried to achieve that same greatness failed miserably.

It's my favorite video game series, i don't want to see a movie come out and have ti fail miserably. it'd bad enough i have to forget about playing GoW3 because i will not own a $500 console with nothing else on it that appeals to me that i can't get on the 360. Only if it drops another $100 or so...

I'd love to see who'd be cast as the Gods & how the Titans would look since they'll all be CGI. I also want to see how they will do the major fights. We'll probably end up getting things in these movies that we've never seen before in movies.

The game is epic, and it's awesome. A movie wouldn't come close.
